COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
9%vol. 33, 75 and 150cl Beer very amber in color, strong, nose fruity and delicate, soft and round with the palate; slightly hopped but correctly spiced (roasted chicory, coriander, and sweet orange peel, among other ingredients). Bottle fermented and complex. On the Port-y side fresh. Spiced distinctly with orange, corriander and chicory. Should cellar nicely.

75cl bottle from Belgian Beer Station. Bottle only capped, no cork. Didn’t expect it but bottle opened with a loud pop and the beer sprayed out of the bottle. Never seen this before. Stored it upright for a couple of weeks though. Pitty for the lost beer (although the dog licked a bit off the floor; seemed to like it a lot). I had to clean the living room though (at 00:30 AM !!!) Beer is hazy amber with an off white noisy head leaving lots of lace on the glass. The aroma is very fruity and fresh but also yeasty and funky. The taste is tart and fruity evolving to a yeasty side with a pretty bitter, dry and grainy finish. The beer has got a medium body with little carbonation. The 9% ABV does its work very well. Overall an original beer with lots of character. I hope that the next bottle won’t be such a gusher.

Sweet malts, fermnting fruit, brown caramel, alcohol and estery fermentation. Sweet alcohol throughout, but oddly still satisfying. Some spices. Not refined nor well developed, but I still enjoy it. (33cl bottle from Dekoninck)

As Vapeur Cochonnette ABV 8,5 % >>Bière ambrée fort sucrée épicée sur lie.

Spicy and fruity aromas and flavours. A bit oversweetened. Nice consistency, not too wattery. Yeasty. Strong. I wouldn’t mind having a few others bottles.

Brown colour with thin head. Aroma is a bit musty with some cardboard. Flavour is full of sugary sweetness. Woody dryness.

From notes (9/5/14, Ebenezer’s in Maine). Belgian yeast notes with some light spice and a lot of grain and hay taste. Very complex, with some odd (but not at all bad) characteristics from the spices.

Correct

Bad beer. Aroma is dirt, cola, pepper, and coriander, taste is flabby dr pepper with not much going on that tastes right.
