2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
1996 Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Sadly this one is...well...way over the hill. Pours with a small white head that fades over a hazy golden body. Aroma of cork, cobwebs, dirt and attic. Taste is completely gone. Lactic, caddy, vinegar, acrid, sour, spoiled, oxidized and greatly unpleasant. Light bubbles and a thin mouthfeel.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at RBSG grand tasting. Thanks to whoever brought it. Poured a hazy copper color with no mention-worthy head. The aroma was a bit funky and metallic. The taste was slightly sour, and not in a good way, with various fruits and oak. The mouthfeel was light. The finish was short and dry. Overall: I kinda think that this bottle was oxidized or mishandled in cellaring. It was not particularly remarkable.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
1996 bottling, Rating #2,700!.
Poured clear apple juicy yellow with zero head sticking around. The aroma was excellent.. sour and acidic with a delightful presentation.. sliced, pickled fruit skins, apple vinegar, and a dose of subtle, but complimentary peppery spicage. The flavor was almost as sour as a Cantillon with apple vinegar first and foremost.. pear skins as well with a bone dry, funky finish. Lighter-bodied with about zero carbonation left.. tartness was ever-present, but well-received.. bone dry with a refreshing finish. I really dug this.
