20/III/2012 75cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ Klaas’ place - BB: III/14 (2012-250)

Little cloudy orange beer, small aery off-white head, unstable. Aroma: very spicy, cloves, marzipan, sugary, orange peel, Play Dough (so, saline, I guess?). MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: chemical, pain, orange peel, nutty, almonds, pretty spicy, mildew, cork. Aftertaste: wallnuts, herbal, little bitter, vinous, mildew. This is pretty bad.

75cl corked bottle, BB 2014, new label.

A cloudy amber beer. Light but very dry. Made with spices but they are very subtle. Hint of fruit and some dust. Less than inspiring!

Bottle. Clear golden with a frothy white head that slowly died. Nose of caramel, pear and spicy yeast. The flavour is caramel, spice, pear, orange and yeast. Sweet malty finish. Quite interesting. Cheers Dirk for sharing.

Pours a hazy medium orangish amber color. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty, with a touch of fruit. Flavor is a nice mixture of malts and fruits.

75cl, exclusive Halloween beer, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex brew, yet heavy, not balanced, cloudy, small head, nothing special
