WillemsUrenkel (445) - Oldenburg, - NOV 4, 2013
0,5 l swing top bottle. Pours orange cloudy, fine white head. Dry grapefruit on the nose. Starts with dry orange, unusual bitterness, a little bit flat. Later sweet caramell, grainy, yeast and hints of phosphor. Thinner to the end. Not a typical Weizen. More below average.

Thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that bottle. Looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts malty-yeasty, modest sourish, notes of sour apple. Finish less yeasty, more dry. All in all well balanced and quite drinkable.

Bananig-fruchtiger Geruch, süße Sahne. Sehr fruchtiger Start, bananig bis in die Mitte ziehend. Hier Noten von Erdbeere. Abgang vermehrt bitter, trocken-würzig. Gut.

Ungstrup (29171) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 11, 2011
Draft. An unclear light yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has powerful notes of wheat combined with medium notes of cloves and bananas. The flavor is very sweet with primary notes of wheat as well as lighter notes of cloves and bananas, leading to a very dry and wheat finish. The body is light.

On tap. Pours a cloudy opaque yellow with a dense and lacing white head. Sweet banana in the nose - and yeast. Medium body, banana accents and a little tart citrus with some discreet phenols and yeast. The finish is dry. A fairly harmonious Hefe. 190810

On tap. Very fruity and yeasty, moderate smell of banana. A cloudy light yellow body with a medium sized white frothy head, quite long lasting. The taste is moderate bitter with a medium duration. The texture is creamy, lively carbonation and a light body. Quite interesting Weizen.
