cloudy amber, small white head. aroma sweet sugar, coriander, spicey, citrusy but sour background. taste starts sweet sugar/caramel biscuit through coriander and citrus but turns quite sour very quickly and the finish is a mix of sweet’n’sour spices. med+ body. Guess this one also depends on the brew as do other brands from Vasileostrovskaya. Without the unpleasant sourness it would be a good beer.

Very-Belgian, coriander, orange peel, wheat. Much depends on the brew. Sometimes a great ale, and is too sour

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Look: cloudy amber, light beige frothy head with poor retention.
Aroma: sweet fruity (pear, apricot) lollipop sweetness with some acidity, orange.
Taste: prickly, sweet and acid fruitiness, light caramel sweetness in the background, light green fruit astringency in the finish.
With all the flaws, not a bad beer. Overall, feels like a witbier on steroids.

fruity and malty aroma with shades of spices... rather rough taste of wheat malt with notes of juniper, coriander and citrus... dry sweet aftertaste...

A - Pours amber beer with a huge foamy head. Some cloudiness. Very nice to see!
S - Smell has fruity esters, apple, notes of citrus and oranges. A very inviting smell that tells "drink me"
T - Taste is just excellent! The wheat flavour is pretty well hidden. The first notes are of apples, then citrus and oranges come into action. Sweet after mouth, but not overpowering.
M - Silky in the mouth, with a lively carbonation
O - Overall an excellent beer that is miles away from the Red Ale that I tried yesterday (by this same brewery). Makes me wonder if I drank a bad bottle because the quality difference is just abysmal.
