Vasilyeostrovskoye Flash Back

On tap at the Pivnoi Bar in St. Petersburg. Poured a hazy dark mahogany with ruby highlites. Sweet aroma of some rich chocolate with notes of fruit acidity. Taste is very sweet, some chocolate, cherries, toffee, slightly citrusy. Fairly full body. Almost too sweet to finish the .5 liter glass, but still a very unique and refreshing beer.

Cloudy chestnut brown colour. Sweaty, wheaty aroma. Smooth, sweet palate with candyish notes and orange. Strange, with the heavy citric notes, but a very lively palate. Body is fairly light. I’ve never had a beer quite like this before.
