In short: A strange amateurish blond Saison that I found entertaining
How: Bottle 330ml. Exact age unknown, bought in Italy and then given to me by Dickinsonbeer during some kind of weird seduction ritual
The look: Parly cloudy dark blonde body (clear first half of the bottle) topped by an enormous white head with medium retention but leaving very little lacings on the glass
In long: Nose is dusty (old attic) and slightly phenolic with some citric notes. Mouthfeel is very light-bodied and fluffy with a lot of semi-bubbles big bubbles that gives the beer a bit of an airy feeling. Taste is crisp wheaty cereals with wheat acidity (although I have no clue if wheat is actually used in this beer, but it feels like it), a bit of iodization, light medicinal notes that somehow don’t seem out of place, a slice of lemon pie, some exotic fruits, light bubble gum notes. Finish is medium-dry with almost no bitterness. This one was a bit of an oddball, but I enjoyed it. A bottle given to me by dickinsonbeer, he used to be very active on ratebeer but not anymore, and whenever I notice a top rater has stopped rating beers I imagine something terrible must have happened to him, when in fact it is probably the exact opposite.

-Great crisp taste with pepper and coriander after taste. Light brownish-orangeish color and well balanced.

Aroma speziato e pulito che viene confermato al palato. Perfetta esecuzione dello stile saison. Forse manca di originalità, ma resta una ottima birra!

Buona schiuma fine, su una birra chiara velata. Fresca e piacevole al naso e il palato, con in giusto grado acidulo che non stanca. Ottimamente concepita e realizzata, tra le mie preferite del birrificio.

Hazy golden color with medium sized head. Aroma of plastic, yeast, grass, hay, some malt and very light spices. The body is lean and the mouthfeel quite dry in the front; moderate malt flavor, with accents of honey hay and paper, and light traces of spicy yeast; light residual sweetness in the middle, and light astringency in the end; ordinary bitterness.
Boring, it can’t stand up against many other good examples.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A hazy, orange-golden beer with a firm, small, off-white head leaving some lacings. The aroma has a milky touch, with a solid dose of hops, a light medicine touch, pale malts, some yeast hints and a touch of orange. Orange, pale malts, hop-fruity but not bitter, slightly medicine-like and yeasty flavor. Medium body, well carbonated. Fruity finish with pale malts and a touch of yeast. A bit sweet overall, maybe. Still a nice one that I would like to revisit. 110128

33 cl bottle. Pours a slightly hazed orange copper with a thin yet lasting white head- some lace. Aroma is phenolic, light toast, some medium carapils sweetness, honey, ligth floral notes, then some lemon and pine. Flavor has almsot a menthol piney minty character, then slight bubblegum phenols, light toasty malts, biscuit, thyme, then a mostly dry finish- Ok.

Cloudy orange body, white head. Aroma of yeast, clove and some mixed spices. Flavour has some noble hops, clove, maybe some sweet peppers. Floury and adstringent.

Bottle 330ml.

Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, moderate yeasty, citrus, flowers - soap. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20110128]
