2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
33cl bottle. Pours very pale golden with very gentle bubbles and a decent head which fades to a fine lace layer. The nose has pale malt, and lemon - quite like a German lager if Iím honest. The taste has the taste of a lager bock - more pale malt and citrus and a little bit of sweetness. The palate is medium in structure and texture with a clean finish. Overall, Iím slightly disappointed as it is not as typically Belgian as I had hoped for.

Quintessential Pilsener in my opintion. Smells really crisp, has a pleasant grainy-hoppy taste. More carbonation than usual. It just looks a tad anemic.

Ruikt als standaard bieren zoals Heineken wn eurpshopper. Smaakt enigszins anders met een klein beetje extra hop smaak en wat diepte. Niks speciaals.

Zeer heldere lichtgele kleur met aardige kraag. Frisse hop en pilsgeur met iets citrus. Smaakt fris en prettig bitter en iets citrus

"I know there are tastier lagers out there but if youíve cycled for 45 miles into a headwind being pelted with the elements for 5 and a half hours, then you could do a lot worse than this old chap."

About as clean as they come. Nothing good about it but itís not terrible. Just super clean. Like bubbly water with a light beery flavour. Summer here we come!

0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
33cl bottle, bought in a supermarket in Brussels - Belgium. Smells cheap sour, short white foam, light yellow color almost totally transparent and very sparkling. Taste in the first few second is like sparkling mineral water which is a bit sour, than itís a bit bitter. For second try I feel some sweetness as well. Aftertaste is light bitter and not very bad but itís just like any of the cheapest beers in the supermarket.

Shared a 33cl bottle from Delheize. I have some difficulties in rate this as a beer. It doesnít have much of a colour, aroma or flavour. Bitter though, but far from a real thing.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at De Paas, Den Haag. Poured a clear light straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is big crisp and yeast. The flavour is medium bitter with lots of malt and yeast on the sharp bitter palate. Quite refreshing and drinkable on a hot day but not the kind of beer you would order twice.
