COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vedett, a blond, light, well hopped premium beer with 5.2% alcohol content, is the cult Duvel Moortgat beer today: following its birth in 1945, it quickly acquired fame and recognition within an intimate circle of insiders in the Antwerp-Brussels region. But do not think for a moment that this oldtimer is thinking about retirement, quite the contrary. For the past years, Vedett has been going through a second childhood in a number of trendy cafés located mainly in big cities. The secret of its charm? A retro-look, a capricious taste, Vedett-allure and the "golden touch" of the brewery. These past years, the brewery armed Vedett with an innovative, hip, young and slightly absurd image. A successful strategy, especially with the youth: Right now, you'll find Vedett in Belgian Delhaize supermarkets and most Flemish cities as well as in Brussels. And the follow-up to the story? You can read it at www.vedett.com.

Golden colour with a white head. Much of the taste comes from the malts, with a slightly bitter hop taste. Average beer. Nothing special.

Boa cerveja, mas não chega a ser sensacional como a witbier, vale tomar novamente. Tomei em Londres. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

In a can. Weak aroma and other elements. Almost like a water, except the colour.

330ml green bottle with a BB date stamp March 2016. With a panini in Aberdeen, Scotland. Belgian Heineken probably a touch more hoppy but should be interchangeable. It even has a mild skunky note but nonetheless seems clean.

Bottle from Co-operative. Pours.. well, extra blond. Aroma is hay, grass, malts. Crispy carbonation, watery taste. Hay, malt, light bitterness, light yeast. If this was a try to bring something Belgian to a pale lager, it was not a successful one.

Bottle - Pours a clear yellow with a creamy head and some lacing. Light grass aroma. Taste is light with hay. Refreshing summer beer.

Ok lager. Nice pale golden pour. I don't know what it is, but its simply a little bit more special than a Heineken..

Pours a white head with light malt and flavors of bad non alcoholic beer. Strange. 5.2%. Light yellow pils colored body. Light taste of malt. Just Ok in hot summer. Otherwise a beer for dikkenek. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can in the Ward Jackson, Hartlepool. Pours golden with a frothy white head. Grassy citrus aroma. The taste is light spice and citrus before a bready finish. Better than I was expecting.
