Nice IPA but nothing more. Nose is very promising, but beer doesn’t really deliver. Short finish, and poor foam make this an IPA that does not really stand up against similar IPA´s.

33cl bottle from Marks & Spencer, Camberley at 5.5% ABV. I’m a fan of regular Vedett, and I’m a fan of IPAs, so this should be a match made in heaven. Unfortunately not. A hazy amber pour with a billowing white head; aroma of orange and Belgian yeast; grainy yeasty body with an orange taste; and a thin orange juice finish with a metallic bitterness. Lacks the depth and power of a modern IPA.

A Vedett IPA é uma cerveja com aroma muito agradavel, sabor levemente amargo, uma IPA pra quem não quer errar na escolha! Sem dúvidas vale a pena e é perfeita como cerveja de dia a dia!

330ml bottle (Chmiel Cafe, Warsaw). Hazy amber color. Medium size, bubbly off-white head, stays. Malty, sweet, oranges, jammy in aroma. Papery, beans, malty, fruity, oranges, faint cinnamon in taste. Dry cinnamon and some soap in aftertaste. Soft carbonation. Soapy and bit messy.

330ml bottle (Chmielna Cafe)
Gold, clear to hazy depending on where down the bottle the pour goes. Vaguely belgian aroma. Pretty rough malty body, some extracty hops. Medium palate, pleasant carbonation. Weak belgian, pretty poor.

My first IPA long time ago. Loved it at the time. Now enjoyed it again, still very good. Nice hazy amber beer from the Duvel brewery. Good bite and reasonable mouthfeel (a little bit metallic). Lively aftertaste that lasts.

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2016 Great for an IPA starter. Light dry hoppy taste with hint of citrus, fades away after the second beer. Very drinkable for summer days.

Served in a tulip from 330ml bottle. Pours slightly hazy lemon-gold colour with a huge white head, nice lacing. Aroma is citrus hops, caramel, bread, yeast. Taste is lemon and grapefruit, really hoppy and bold without being overwhelming, finishing off with an extremely nice lingering subtle bitterness. Full body with almost oily mouth-feel and medium carbonation. Really good, well balanced and extremely enjoyable IPA!
