Yellow orange. Foam top disappears quickly, beer looses oxidation quickly. Hops and citrus, aftertaste bitter, sweet and sour. Refreshing but not much body

Very smooth IPA. Everything you can ask for in an IPA. And all of that in a very well drinkable and smooth version. Really refreshing (is becoming a vedett trademark), welld rinkable and still tastefull. Very well done.

33cl bottle (5,5%) at Belmondo, Antwerp. Pours clear golden to orange with a modest head. Medium fruity aroma with notes of oranges and herbs and hints if Belgian yeast, pine and tropical fruits. Pleasant, refreshing and easy to drink, but not terribly exciting.

Nose is fruity, flavor is biscuit, fruits, bread, belgian yeast. Medium sweet, light bitter, light salty, medium umami. Finish is medium lasting light salty light umami, later Medium hoppy bitter-sweet. Medium body, dry texture, average carbonation. Easy, refreshing, good entry level (I)PA.

Bottle from what used to be Rythmn & Booze. Now called something like the Drinks Store. Anyhoo, it’s hazy gold, with a big, bubbly, lasting, white head. Constant stream of fine bubbles keeping it going. Curious, but appealing vanilla peachiness to this, the curious bit being a slightly medicinal, cloveish, sticking plaster thing in the background. Biscuit malts, by way of contrast. Drinks light, but lingering bitter. A little tartness to it, that adds to the easy drinking nature. Crisp, clean, refreshing stuff. Liked this.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2015 Bottle, week 6. Lightly veiled orange gold capped with white. Nose of tangerine, grass sap, tobacco leaves, marmalade peppered with juniper and wine gum hop. Beautifully tangy, peppery and wheat-heavy in that beguiling Belgian way; satsuma, juniper, lemon puff biscuit dabbed with marmalade and more tobacco notes. In the US a white IPA. Clean and hugely drinkable with a session-begging juiciness and freshness of citrus. Surprisingly good.

Bottle 33cl. Hazy orange with a white head. Fresh aroma with some hops. Nice flavour, hints of flowers but also pleasant bitterness present. Medium length.

Goudkleurig, mistig bier. Schuimkraag bijna geheel afwezig. Neus is subtiel, munt, citroenschil en tabak. In de mond eerst moutig, daarna meer droog en bitter. Geen typische IPA, maar wel verfrissend en een lekkere doordrinker.

Not at all a bad beer, this is refreshing and the hops are good. But by no stretch of the imagination could you call this an IPA. Rather it tastes as a lighter version of the Duvel we’re all familiar with. Still, worth a try. The unusual artwork is quite appealing, I find, with its absence of the ubiquitous clutter of blackletter text, heraldry, wheatsheaves and hops.

On tap in Amsterdam. Clean golden color, good foam. Medium aroma intensity; hoppy, fruity with light citrus. Medium body & complexity . Good bitterness & balance. Enjoyable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
