Amarelo palha turvo com boa espuma branca de pouca persistência. Aroma marcante de casca de laranja., ervas, limão. No paladar boa acidez e carbonatação. Refrescante com toques cítricos, levemente salgado. Boa drinkabilidade. Tipicidade no estilo.

Aroma: fairly aromatic, coriander, touch of clove with hint of vanilla. Fairly dry citrusy, zesty backing to it. Refreshing
Look; poured hazy golden with mid white top.
Taste/Palate: medium lighter bodied, even delicate. Lighter in carbonation. Sweet top with soft wheat notes at base.Bit plain, yet rather refreshing creation.

Nice herb aroma, koriander like and Lemon. Not much head, hazy light yellow. Very lemonlike flavour, almost creamy. Spicey yeasty, tinckles on the tongue. Nice fresh aftertaste.

Eenvoudig bier, niet echt een topper onder de witbieren. Verfrissend, leuke smaakmomenten.

Witbier launched in 2008 when the Steendonk joint venture ended and both Moortgat and Palm introduced their own continuations of it, and both incorporated it in an existing brand which initially had nothing to do with witbier. This one has a thick, cream white head and deep, hazy, yellow blond colour. Grainy and light wheaty nose, apple, subtle coriander, some citrus peel, grainy main taste with light sourish wheatiness, fresh, subtle spiciness. Just another ordinary Hoegaarden clone, and though decently made, lacking personality to distinguish itself on the witbier market - which is probably why it uses the name of its successful Vedett lager predecessor.

Bottle at The Columbia Press (JDW), Watford on 24 Oct. Poured a cloudy pale yellow, with a dense white head. Aroma of light wheat, esters and bread. Tangerine and peach flavours, with some dough. Finish was ginger, cloves and straw.

330ml bottle bought at Mark Place by Jasons in iSquare,Tsim Sha Tsui.

Cloudy, hazy pear juice colour with small amounts of yeast sediments; One finger head with slightly soapy white foam which fades in 40 seconds; Very good lacing and zero carbonation; Fragrant aroma of light malt, with strong wheat, tartness, orange peel, lemon zest, coriander, light grapefruit, light spices and faint grass; Very light sweet taste of light malt, with moderate wheat, thin tartness, coriander, very light citrus peels, very light earth and spice, yeast and shades of grass; Light body, slick and quite crisp palate; Mouth feel is light malt thinned by moderate wheat - smell good but taste modest at best – with a refreshing if fairly light citrus zest and peels, plus light earthy and spicy esters to round up a rather crisp palate. Okay… Hoppiness is lemon zest and faint grass in nose and taste, plus a very light touch of Saaz-like earthyness. Faint bitterness for a light wheaty finish; Slightly dry aftertaste. Very easy to mouth.

Comments: This one is very easy to go down and certainly inoffensive by any means, but it isn’t a standout. Given how good the pale lager Vedett Extra Blond can be, this one should add some little extras to be truly special. Until then, as a Belgian White, this is casual purchase only.

On tap in brazil, SP. Pretty ordinary witbier, simple, fresh, light. Pale yellow color, hazed, classic look. Fits well with the hot climate of the area, refreshing. Taste a bit dusty, citric, dry finish, mild carbonation.

LCBO find. Whitish colour, some head. Light mouthfeel, slightly acidic but spicy witbeer. So-so drinkability.

Excelente cerveja witbier. Vale muito a pena beber. Contudo ela tem um preço alto em regra. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
