Vedett Extra White has a delicious refreshing taste, surprisingly crisp punctuated with an orange- and lemon like zest, rounded with a mildly bitter taste and dry finish.

Bottle; Pours a milky, light yellow colour with a good white head. Taste has light spicing, wheat and good citrus notes coming through as expected from the style. Is very crisp and just the right amount of tartness from the citrus. Enjoyable and very good example of a Witbier.

Pours almost clear with very little head, less than one finger. It is grassy on the nose and has a coriander, citrus zest taste. Bubbly cuts any Belgium style sweetness

Probably shouldn’t rate this since I didn’t take notes and the sample I had was draft with slices of lemon in it but than again try to get a Blanche in Brussels without some lemon or lime in it. 25 cl. draft sample @ Café Belga with 2 slices of lemon. Thoroughly hazy lightly yellow with smaller creamy white head. Reminds me a bit of how a Hoegaarden tastes on tap in Brussels – grainy, coriander, bit tame, milky, herbal, white bread wheat, somewhat tampered porridge-esque obviously with a chunk of citrus but yeah… Bit watery – agreeable.

draft at a local disco club ( again , wtf was i there for) but you do know you’re in belgium when you’ve had 650 beers, and still find 2 new ticks at a discobar, right? :p pours fuzzy yellow, white foam. smell is mostly koreander, not much orange at all . taste is also coreander, borning. very meh , even for the style also strongly think this was infected ..

330ml bottle. Very cloudy yellow beer, small white head, refreshing clean taste, quite fruity with a similar aroma

Not a great white beer at all at all, disappointing considering the quality of it’s sister blonde beer. Slightly dish watery in appearance the taste lingers but not in a nice way. Hoegaarden is much finer example of the genre.

Snow-white head, crisp aromas of citrus and spice but not much else. Thin palate, refreshing and zesty. Good on a hot day perhaps, or paired with the right food. With my blue cheese pizza, it was a tad lacking.

The green yellow beer is typical for this beer. We tasted this beer at the beer tasting class. I missed some co2 saturation in the beer. The beer has almost no aftertaste. A beer for summer evenings. The foam is almost not existing and the citrus aroma is dominant present. ---Rated By the Belleketels
