Vedett Extra White has a delicious refreshing taste, surprisingly crisp punctuated with an orange- and lemon like zest, rounded with a mildly bitter taste and dry finish.

Palme (3605) - Bergen, NORWAY - AUG 15, 2011
0.33l bottle @ Henrik, Bergen. This is a cloudy as hell yellowish beer with a medium lasting white little creamy head. Aroma has some wheat, some nice subtle notes of coriander, pepper and some hints of yeast. Average carbonation, oily to watery mouthfeeling and it’s light to medium-bodied. Tastes light and refreshing. Some spicy peppery hints, notes of yeast and hints of lime, no, lemon! Quite alright, and really easy.

(Draught at Het Elfde Gebod, Amsterdam, 17 July 2011) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, wheaty nose with notes of citrus, bread and wheat flour dough. Malty, wheaty taste with dough, bread, hints of citrus and grass. Medium body, slightly sweetish, with low bitterness. Decent and refreshing witbier, but not really exciting.

Very good color for a whitebeer. Clear white to light yellow color. Not a very nice smell, but it tastes very refreshing, hints of lime and lemon. Nice carbo and body for a beer of 5%ABV.

MIBRomeo (2569) - Wisconsin, USA - JUL 4, 2011
Easy to drink, & surprisingly refreshing. There’s a bit of an off taste in the aftertaste almost a little bit of bitterness lingering or an off metalic otherwise a great beer. Pour is clear and well carbonated, aroma is mild some of the orange and citrus comes through very lightly. Aggressive carb on the palate. Easy to drink.

33cl bottle. Pours a cloudy lemon with gentle bubbles and a very generous head. The nose has lemon, yoghurt and some grassiness. The taste has lemon sherbet that then becomes engulfed in a creamy finish. The palate is medium in structure with a nice zingy finish. Overall, a lot of taste for a low alcohol wheat beer.

This witbier smells a bit weird, but in a good way. Not a typical witbier. Not too special either.

This is decent Belgian White. Stunning hazy lemon colour with very thick white head. Lemon and pepper drive the flavours and the weight is not at all heavy. Excellent drinking here in Laos given the climate.

Bottle from Finland. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy pale yellow. Aroma and taste are malt, citrus, hops and yeast.

Pale yellow/white beer, fluffy white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, some lemon. Flavour rather thin, bit sweet, bit tart, wheaty, some lemon, but rather as lemon juice. Drinkable but there is better Belgian witbier around.
(draught @ Café De Kluizenaar, Nijmegen)
