Vedett Extra White has a delicious refreshing taste, surprisingly crisp punctuated with an orange- and lemon like zest, rounded with a mildly bitter taste and dry finish.

Hazy pale blond color. Nice aroma, fresh, with a blend of spices and lemon. Smooth mouthfeel, dry; some wheat flavor, and correct bitterness; the spice character is low, and there are no fruits.

Bottle. (4.7%). It pours a very pale, yellowish and hazy body with a moderate white head leaving some lacings. The aroma is surprisingly grainy, with a good dash of lemon, some orange and some coriander. Thin on the palate, quite dry, with spicyness and bittering hops leaving a pleasant impression. Effervescent, with lemon and wheat. Grainy, citrusy, slightly bitter finish. A very refreshing beer, but not my favorite witbier. Too thin and grainy for that. And when all was gone, I had a feeling of chewing wet cardboard. That could of course be avoided by popping another one. (090209)
