Vedett Extra White has a delicious refreshing taste, surprisingly crisp punctuated with an orange- and lemon like zest, rounded with a mildly bitter taste and dry finish.

I can’t help but like this. Probably too much Coriander for most, but not for me. As you would expect for the style, but perhaps a little cleaner in the finish with less of the banana notes etc usually found. Pairs well with Indian curry.

Green bottle in Beijing grocery store. Pours a dense straw color with a fading white head. Slight lemon aroma. Light body but effervescent mouthfeel. Mild wheat flavor with slightly dry aftertaste. Note sure about the "extra" but tastes fine.

Aroma of wheat, yeast, and zest. Very pale yellow pour, almost white. Flavour of lemon and orange zest, with some misc spices and yeast. Not bad!

Bottle. Murky light yellow, lively white head. Aroma sweaty and spicy. Light wheaty palate, lemony and spicy. Finish is lightly tart and dry. Nice enough.

4-pack from the LCBO in green Duvel bottles. Pours a hazy yellow colour with a big white frothy head, good retention and wavy lacing. Wheat nose at first, but eventually the lemon citrus sourness comes out. Smooth Belgian Ale yeast is also present here and in the taste. Mild lemon flavours with the orange in the background, but not really zest, and not much of the coriander. Nothing bad, but just lacking the nice attack of a witbier.

Bottle @ Ministry of Ale, Burnley. Dishwater yellow with a thin head. Surprisingly light and crisp for a Belgian ale with a slightly dry tasting with a potent and similarly dry citrus nose - however distinctively a wit.

Bottled from AH in Maastricht. Slightly hazy, very pale colour with average fluffy head. Wheat and sour nose. Aroma is wheat, yeast and citrus. Flavour is the same but ends with watery texture which is emphasized by the low carbonation. not again.

330ml bottle pours a hazy pale white color with a finger of white head that settles down to leaves some spotted lacing behind. Aroma is mild lemon zest with some hints of yeast. Taste is a lemon tartness with a citrus bitterness and malty sweetness finishing dry and yeasty. Light to medium body with nice carbonation. A decent witbier, but nothing really memorable.
