330 ml bottle. Aaah! Fantastic! Finally a witbier that have all the elements. Crispy, fruity, refreshing, beautifully balanced, acidic. Everything is (close to) perfect with this one, and when I was finished drinking it (it took about 90 sec) I immediately wanted one more. Amazing!

Not quite as sour as many other witbier, but still feels fresh and healthy. Top class!

330ml bottle thanks to willblake. Milky yellow body with a tall, foamy white head. Perfect appearance for a witbier. Nose is pleasantly pungent with a saison-like spiciness and pungency accompanying the coriander, clove and citrus fruit aromatics. Flavor is surprisingly bright, juicy, and tart, with abundant lemon juice and pillowy yeast, along with a smooth textured wheat body. Wonderful beer, easily the best witbier I’ve had.

This beer was no joke, thanks dickinsonbeer! Hazy lemonade color with a white soapy head. Lemon, sulfur aroma. Flavor had quite a bit of lemon tartness, earth, orange, sulfur. Sharp acidic finish but very quick then gone like a nice berliner. This was very nice.

Multiple bottles brought back form the VIP tasting thanks to willblake for snaggin me some so I could snag them from his tent and drink them now. Probably one of the bigger surprises of the fest. Just looks like another stupid crappy Belgian wit bier from the bottle. But damn this shit was surprisingly good. Pours a light golden straw with an almost green hint and a massive cloudy lasting white head and great lace. Aroma is earthy, light yeasty bubblegum phenolics, spice is low to no coriander which I love- freak- it smells more like a great saison than a wit! That is why I like it I guess. Flavor is light wheat, some doughy cracker hints of cream of wheat- almost no tartness but finishes very dry crisp and clean without feeling dull or watered down too much. insanely easy to drink this very fast. Awesome summer beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle; Pours a milky, light yellow colour with a good white head. Taste has light spicing, wheat and good citrus notes coming through as expected from the style. Is very crisp and just the right amount of tartness from the citrus. Enjoyable and very good example of a Witbier.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: The smell is fruity, lemon, orange and banana, spicy and a bit more "vigorous" than the on-tap version.
Appearance: A foggy yellow beverage, a white thick head, no lacing.
Taste: The taste is citric, lemon, rhubarb and elderberries, spicy, clove and cardamom.
Palate: High carbonation, refreshing and spritzy, soothing but dry.
Overall: This bottle was tested and compared with an on-tap version, I found the extra carbonation from the bottle actually invigorating and enhancing this beer.
Note: Bottle at beer sampling at De Klomp. Reviewed 2011-06-04.

Cor branca.
