aceofhearts (1373), San Francisco, California, USA Jun 4, 2007 Bottle. Piss-yellow but nice head. I ordered without having any idea of what it was...silly me. Kinda skunky typical lager aroma, somehow redeeming straw/malt/light hops. Inoffensive but uninteresting.
Bontus (67), Belgium Sep 22, 2008 Bottle 33.cl. Very much like Bel Pils but Vedett is very light compared to its taste. (especially lack of bitterness here).
A Vedett however will always be quality compared to an unknown brand on tap. SeanMacGC (47), Dublin, Ireland Sep 7, 2008 Bottle. Unremarkable in just about every respect; pours clean golden with adequate head.Caramel and hops on the nose, and slightly more yeasty on the palate. Not the worst. iammarc (179), Inverness, Scotland Aug 13, 2008 Bottle, Irish Bar, Brussels. Pale yellow pissy colour. Mental fizziness, a tad sweet but overall a ridiculously bland lager. Borresteijn (582), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 7, 2008 Bottle. A very bland lager, which only sticks out because of the high carbonation. Some cardboard in the flavour as well. Not too good. Expected more from Moortgat. gary07734 (165), Tyne & Wear, England Jul 20, 2008 Bottled at Place Vert, York. Pour is lager-like with a huge foamy white head. Aroma is bitter, hops. Taste is lager-like with a not very pleasant metallic finish and not much balance to the taste. A little thin too.
