Stopper bottle. Pours deep brown, light tan head lingers a little while. Almost completely lacks hoppiness of any sort. Interesting brew. Faintly sweet burnt chocolate on tongue, almost like Tobblerone or some similar candy I can’t quite put my finger... err tongue on. I liked it. Not extremely complex, fairly dry finish. Inoffensive.

(bottle - 500 ml fliptop) Cloudy amber pour. Mild aroma of sour wheat with some light caramel notes. Flavor is the same. Mildly sweet and very dry that pretty much ends the flavor. Not very good.

Hazy rusty amber with a medium pillowy head. Aroma is of nutty wheat with a touch of earthy caramel. Unfortunately the flavor is a bit bland with dry dusty earthy wheat and light malt sweetness.

Deeply clouded, multi-layered brown with a large, whipped, off-white head. Aroma is ripe banana, cola, malt. Taste is dark wheat, banana... Sweet, creamy. Rather good.

500 ml. bottle at Oliver’s BC for a price of $3.49. On the label appears to be a date code, yet it make no sense at all. Cloudy brown color small thin vanishing head. Nose is moderate caramel malt with light German yeast nuances. Hints of apples. Light banana, malted wheat and a light metallic tone in the flavor. As with this breweries original Hefeweizen, the body is thin and watery. Slightly dry texture. Perhaps a fresh draft sample in Germany would do this wonders but in the U.S.A, pass on this.

It’s unclear dark brown with a creamy head. The mild aroma has notes of yeast, caramel and fruit. The sweet flavor has notes of caramel, yeast, fruit and light wheat, and the finish is slightly dry and spicy.

500 ml flip-top botlle from Wasanas in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Pours a dark cloudy orange/brown color with a small off-white head. Dry wheat aroma, light roasted malt. <smooth and mild roasted malt flavor. Mild acidic and banana fruity flavoured. Mild watery palate.

Bottled. Poured medium golden with a short off-white head. The aroma picked up cocoa, nutty notes and a hit of ripe banana with faint vinous and clovey accents. The flavor found grainy cocoa, nutty notes, and light biscuit at the core.. light wheat tartness, banana, and clove around.. finished dry and grainy. Lighter-bodied with moderate carbonation on the palate.. again dry and grainy.. ok overall.

Nice amber hazy appearance. Caramel and cookies in the nose. A bit thin and tart palate. Needs a little more going on. Not the best of the style.
