500 ml bottle poured into lager glass. Clear deep caramel color with a significant light tan head and minimal lacing. Faint malty aroma. Slightly sweet malty flavor with some nuttiness. It’s plenty smooth, but overall I find this to be pretty dull.

Bottle 0,50L. Clear, dark amber colour with average big, creamy, beige head. Aroma is mostly on the malt side - roasted malts, caramel, white coffee, chocolate. Taste starts light sweet with caramel flavor and it ends moderate bitter with some chocolate. Medium to full body, texture somewhere between watery and oily with lively carbonation. I was positively suprised!

Bottle. Amber-brown body. Head is frothy, light brown. Malty aroma of caramel, toasted grain, brown sugar, bread, light smoke. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Malt forward, sweet, fruit, caramel. Really enjoyable.

500ml bottle, malty aroma with a slight sweetness and malty caramel taste. Decent German beer that pairs well with food. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 mL bottle. Pours a caramel color, hazy, with an orangey off-white head. Definitely a strong dusty oxidation has set in, but there’s caramel, too. Fairly thin and oxidized, caramel, coffee, and hot cocoa flavors. Might be decent fresh, but it’s hard to tell without a readable bottling or best by date.

Bottle. Pours clear brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast, and caramel. Sweetish, malty flavour, with sour-sweetish fruity and estery notes, and bitter, hoppy touches. Mild, sourish finish. OK but nothing particularly impressive.
