Swingtop from Half Time. Pours orange tinged gold with a 3 finger foamy near-white head. Aroma is very lightly bready with a good dose of grassy hop. Flavor is mildly bready, and quite clean. The grassy hop cuts the malt well. Going down great at the end of a hot day.

Swing top bottle. Light grassy aroma. Hoppy, grassy flavor. Just below medium bodied. Fine traditional German pilsener.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Tmoney99 (8844) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 8, 2011
Bottle. Poured a straw color with a moderate frothy white head that lasted and had good lacing. Medium grass grainy aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet dry finish of moderate duration. This beer met my low expectations.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Koelschtrinker (8619) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 6, 2011
Zuletzt sehr trocken. In Ordnung.
Test vom 6.8.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,10,9,9,8,9
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 pivnizub (8046) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - FEB 22, 2006
Swing-top bottle: Pale golden coloured, thin but lacing foamy layer; sweetish malty/grainy nose, traces of aromatic hops; bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; lingering bitter-aromatic and malty finish. Good! A good balance between a distinctive sweet-malty body and a gentle, almost noble hop-bitterness; more a Bohemian than a "slim" german Pilsener. Quite close to the good czech originals and far better than the boring Gambrinus/Staropramen/Krusovice stuff !
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7835) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAR 31, 2006
(swing top bottle) Clear pale golden coloured effervescent body with a foamy white medium head. Medium sweet malty aroma with herbal and floral hops. Balanced sweet malty and hoppy taste, light to medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel, lasting dry bitter hoppy finish.

Bottled. A yellow gold coloured lager. The aroma is grassy hops and a little creaminess. The taste is quite smooth and mellow with a bitter lemony hop bite. Crisp and pleasant enough.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 leaparsons (7129) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 27, 2008
Bottle. Light gold with a small head. Aromas are grain with floral notes and a strange "pong". Flavours are biscuit malts with grain and citrus. Grassy and crisp.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 3fourths (7064) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 5, 2008
Bottle. Pours a surprisingly light but slightly cloudy yellow, with a tall, fast-growing white head on top. Decent look but the paleness isn’t inspiring confidence. Nose is quiet, minerally, pillowy yeast with a sweetened cream and corn note, along with lighter fruit/citrus/lemon. Body is medium to light, somewhat weak and watery, while the flavors center around more of this sweet lemon and creamed corn (also sweet). Transparent finish.
