Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a lightly cloudy golden body. Long lasting head retention and considerable carbonation. Malty aroma. Finishes with a touch of bitterness.

Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of joss. Hazy amber appearance. Grainy malty aroma- rather dissapointing. Grainy taste. Low bitterness. Poor finish. A mediocre Zwickel. Thanks joss!

Bov (9245) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 8, 2009
from beerangel.de - hazy orange colour with a persistent white foam; correct lacing; solid flowery hoppiness with notes of dust and peanuts; full-bodied and with a rounded palate, very tasty, fairly bitter and with a long malty and aromatic hoppy finish - a beautiful beer

Bottled flip-top (Beerangel, BB 11/2009). Dark honey golden color, abit shady, good creamy off-white head. Dry straw aroma with hints of grain and honey or caramel. Medium-bodied. Sweetish maltyness, finishes to crisp carbonation. Grassy hops. Light bitterness and bready maltyness in the aftertaste. I suppose that this would be nice session beer from tap.

500 ml flip-top bottle in Germany. Deep golden, slightly hazy, almost blueerry aroma, white head. Grainy and bready malt, some fresh hops. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. A bit sweet and unbalanced. Not a bad beer but not a great one either.

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Slightly hazy golden orange colour with big white head. Aroma is dry wood along with some hay and grains, some slight caramel malts noteable too. Flavour is quite pleasant caramel malts along with wooden and grassy hoppy notes. Easy to drink, and gets some dark chocolateish notes as it gets warmer. Smooth.
