3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ingevara (645) - SWEDEN - APR 6, 2010
Tall stiff head. Yellow greyish. Looks lie a standard pilsener, smell like a pilsener, but has a lot more hops and less sugar. This was a surprise, a pleasant one. A beer I can recommend.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 KyotoLefty (3480) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 21, 2010
Can from Dusseldorf. Fragrant nose—rich malt, good hops, nice fruit. Apple, caramel, honey. Mellow, malt-rich, flavor. Fruity, with apples and good hops. A bit sweet, but great balance. A very nice, rich, pilsener. Surprisingly nice.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 BeerBlockaid (679) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - MAR 17, 2010
One of those brews that i’ve sworn to have always have, but I guess ratebeer has proved me wrong. Typical German swill: grains, malts and grassy notes placed over slight bitters and a typical smooth ending. This follows for both taste and nose. Kind of run-of-the-mill, comparable to Becks, though not as good as "fresh" Becks.

A great carbonation really stood out for me here making it a real pleasure to drink. Pretty tasty.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 mjs (2865) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 20, 2010
(Draught) Poured pale golden with quite large and white head. Aroma contained grass and grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, malts, light sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Vaiz (1847) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - FEB 9, 2010
Can at home. Pours a clear golden color with a thick creamy, foamy head. Somewhat cripsy malt and rice aroma, with some faint grass. Clean, slightly watery pilsener flavor, nice creamy texture but still quite boring yet very easily drinkable.

Watery golden pour, small head, no lacing.
Aroma of faint malts and hops, but predominantly water.
Medium bitter flavour, not bad for a pilsener.
Flavour is okay, rest is boring.
