Served on tap, in a smoky bar in Berlin the other week. Week taste, somewhat boring, but fills the need when you´re thirsty.

Darker golden, with white head. Hopy aroma with some umfortunate sweetness. Bland bitter flavor. Thick texture. Gummy finish. At least there are some hops obviously used.

330ml Bottle. Pours a pale yellor with light head. Aroma is sweet malts and a little floral scent. Taste is sweet with herbal flavors and a light hop bitterness in the finishing. Pretty much your average, run of the mill Pilsner.

Bottle. Pours a pale straw colour with medium size head. Malty and grainy aroma with a hint of citrus. The taste is sweet malt, grain. Bitter hops, rather heavy bitterness. Long bitter aftertaste.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2010 33 cl bottle from a local supermarket. It pours a clear light yellow liquid with medium white head. The aroma is hoppy and grassy; very fresh, and a little odd. Light malty, also. The taste is light, somehow sweet and with a hint of lemon and spices; watery. Smooth and fizzy (too much), it ends abruptly and dry. Refreshing and decent beer. Maybe a little overrated. Presentation is smart: not special (average crowncap and labels), but nice brand detail at the top of the long-necked bottle.

500 ml bottle in Germany. Strange, floral and skunky smell, bit weak. Golden color, initially a full head, 20 seconds later no head at all. Taste is watery, metallic, hoppy, sweet, some malts. palate is smooth bitter and empty. I can’t understand why people rate this stuff so high and it is no wonder the they mix this stuff with various other things and try to sell it..

Pours clear pale golden yellow with huge white head leaving some lacing. Aroma is hoppy and malty - not much at all. Low carbonation, lean malty mouthfeel. Flavor is nice bitter hoppy, slightly acidy and sweet with tones of perry. Acidy flat palate. Finishes watery with a nice dry bitter aftertaste.

(bottle) pours a clear yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of pale malts and herbal hops, with faint notes of straw, very crisp. flavour is mostly the same, slightly more grainy, with a hint of popcorn and light bitter finish. light-bodied with average cabonation.
