A very enjoyable German Pilsner. I have learned not to put much emphasis on numerical rating, although I do assign scores to beers. Anyhow, I enjoyed this one. A nice little beer.

Aroma of bread, cereal. Appearance is pale, golden, clear, white foam. Tastes lightly bitter sweet. Light body that’s quite thin and lively carbonated. Overall a nice easy drinking pilsner. Just as a pilsner uses to be.

Another German pilsener. Pours a clear golden color, topped with familiar two fingers of white head. The mild grainy and malty aroma are wasily picked up. The taste is light, slight sweetness at first, followed by somewhat grainy body, little bitterness. Finishes with a nice bittery and refreshing feel. Another fine German pilsener, that is.

500 ml can bought at Market Place by Jason’s in Mei Foo.

Clear pale golden honey colour; One finger head and crumpet white foam which lasts for 1 minute; Small sticky lacing and fizzy carbonation; Light aroma of malt, with very light honey, light orange blossoms, molasses, bread, light lemon and light grass; Very light sweet taste of light malt, with very light metallic, hint of molasses and floral, bread, light iscuits, lime, bitter hops and grass; Close to light body, dry and slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is lightweight, easy and refreshing German Pils, maltyness is a bit light but decent, almost no sweetness with molasses hint, bits of florals, quite limey and obviously bitter hops. Okay… Hoppiness is light lemony, light floral and grassy nose. Good lime and light grass taste. Bitterness is light by German Pils standard but still very obvious for a lasting, low bitter finish; Dry after taste. Quite easy and bitter to mouth.

Comments: Macro German Pils it may be, this is quite well-made, with maltyness, aroma and taste all just enough to pass. Likely to please those macro Pale Lager drinkers. A better choice for chugging than many macro Pales!

A fresh pilsener. Malt like in every pilsener. With a slightly herbal undertone (hops?) and a very smooth finish. Great thirst quencher, not a interesting beer.

Can sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks troubles. Clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of graininess, some herbal hops and a bit of bready malt. Slightly sweetish flavor, a bit grainy and bready, with light herbal bitterness. Rather light-bodied. Not great but easy-drinking.

50cl can @ home. Fine pilsener with a bit more sweetness taste and more bitter finish than the average. It’s OK in a hot summer day. Not enough exciting to waste time for a complete review.

Can shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond Shop. Thanks MarkoNm. fizzy pale gold, clear, white head. Slightly grassy and pear-fruit aroma, tastes bitter, malty and mild. Light body, slightly sweetish finish. Nothing too offensive and quite quaffable.
