3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
11.2 oz bottle. Dig the raised letters on the brown glass bottle, but not enough to award a bonus point. Clear pale yellow beer, thin head. Clean and mild to taste light body; lots of bittering hops, little to no residual malt sweetness, surprisingly soft texture. Loved this beer back in the Berlin days, good to find it for sale in the US.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light and smooth pilsener, which is about what you need in the category. Honestly one of my favourites because of its high drinkability.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location: Draft at Reichenbach Hall, 9/12/14
Aroma: The aroma is light and clean, some grassy hops, clean, pale malts, and spice notes
Appearance: It pours a pale golden color with a nice white head on top and some good lacework
Flavor: The taste is clean and grassy as well, lightly bitter, spice, and a light malt sweetness
Palate: The body is light, but not watery, with a clean, lively mouthfeel, and a light dry finish
I enjoyed this one. It makes for a pretty sessionable and clean Pils, with a nice flavor. Definitely feels underrated to me. Works nicely in the beer hall setting, and I would order a stein of this one again.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Well-known northern German Pilsener since the 19th century. Yellowish white, delicate, dense foam, stable on the edge, pale straw blonde colour, clear. Subtle hoppiness in the nose, grassy and hay-like, malty, cheesy and a bit of wet dog. Light, thirst-quenching taste, strong carbo, mineral-like, light malt sweetishness, medium hop bitter finish.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
0.3L tap. Pours clear golden pale with a thick, frothy head that stays. Nice aromas for a pils: honey, cereal grain, herby hop, burnt tire and sulfur. Dry initial flavor, tasting of herby hop. Mild malt character with notes of honey. Light body with a thin mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Decent representative of a macrobrewed German Pils, with some nice grain aromas. Flavor is somewhat lacking, but better than a lot from this style.
