COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Inspirationen til Vendia Julebryg kommer fra de mørke belgiske Ales. Den er brygget på en blanding af tyske og belgiske specialmalte og krydret med kanel. Den tyske Hallertauer og den engelsk Fuggles humle sætter prikken over i’et og sammen med en belgisk Abbey Ale gær, er der her skabt en dejlig varm mørkgylden øl til den forestående kolde tid.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yngwie. Pours amber with a slight haze and a small off-white head. Metallic aroma with some star anise coming through as well. Solid body, star anise dominates with some caramellish malts. Dryish finish with some alcohol. 271111

Bottle @ Early Winter Gathering season 11/12, Ulfborg. Pours clear amber with a small creamy head and lacings. Yeast, fruit and spices. Spice hell. One dimensional. A bit of hot alcohol.

On tap @ the brewpub. Hazy dark orange body with a dense off-white head. Strong aroma of malt, caramel, yeast, spices and oranges. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, slightly burnt brown sugar, dry fruit and spices. A nice balance, even to be this sweet. Like a nice Belgium Christmas ale. Enjoyable.

Bottled at PBF. Clear nut brown, no head. Wormwood aroma. Very sweet and syrupy. Stikcy caramel together with quite sharp pices and chlorine. Feels primitive and uninviting.
