Cask conditioned @ Plough Inn, Tiptoe (new forest). Light with citrussy hops. Quite dry but not a lot of hops in the finish to accentuate this. Drinkable but not exceptional.

A Mes rate: cask at the Market Porter. Hazy gold with a thin white head and very good condition. Fruity hop aroma with some good earthy malt and hints of barley. Similar flavour but let down just a little by a hint of plastic. Nice peaty, almost smoky finish. Good stuff other than the plastic.

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 08. Gold with thin bubbly head. I wasn’t expecting much as not a fan of this brewery’s past beers. But this has decent flowery hop and peach/apricot fruit. OK bitter with decent fruit.

Cask. A golden ale style of bitter, IMHO. Light crisp citrusy - lemon - hops. Thin but very pleasant body, mostly a sweet malt citrus hop combo. Really hit the spot.

Cask, Jersey Fest 06. Orange/gold with a small head. Aromas are sweet pine hops with sweet caramel and honey notes. Mellow citrus with floral aspects. Flavours are sweet, sugary, light malts with dry, pine hops. Lightly fruity with a soft and buttery palate.

Cask Conditioned at Cherwell Beer Festival, Bodicote, Oxon. Pale gold with fine thin head. Pale light bitter with a vanilla, buttery note. Fruity, lemon throughout the beer, refreshing on the finish with a crisp hop. Biscuit malt, quite reasonable beer.

Cask@Dartford BF. Very, very thin and boring. Slight sulfur and boiled egg in the aroma, grainy texture, not impressed at all.

Beer#24 at Dartford Beer Festival with SilkTork and Duff. Straw/gold colour. Another one with a buttery diacetyl aroma. Some biscuity malt and a whiff of sulphur lurking below. Rather dull, vaguely malty flavour. Not properly conditioned. Cask (gravity dispense0.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2005 July 2004. Dartford Fest. Gravity. Pale amber. Buttery, slightly toffee-ish best bitter with minimal hop awareness. Diacetyl. Aroma is a bit green. Spiesy phones, but on hearing that the beers are green and buttery he decides to go to the Wenlock instead. Probably a wise choice. [2.8]
Nov, 2005 Good Intent, Rochester. Fruity best bitter. Minimal hops. Slight memory of toffee in the swallow. Acceptable. [2.8]
