As I popped the cork the strong carbonation of this cider made its presence known forming an inch thick sparkling head in the bottle. As I poured a first sample in the glass the bubbles were very loud, like a crowd cheering. The appearance is a clear "rosé" with strong lines of bubbles going up and a thin sparkling white head. The aroma is pleasant with its tart and sweet apples, there is something musty too. The flavor of tart and sweet apples is sharp and long lasting, it finishes pleasantly dry. The carbonation is lively but not to the point of being disturbing, it’s just right. This is another fine product from an excellent cider producer.
