COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Old description: A pleasing selection of ice cider and our acclaimed Crémant de pomme. Previously 7% abv.

Corked and caged small bottle shared with GT2. Clear deep golden pour with small head, small bubbles. Smells of honeysuckle, crystallized sugar, licorice. Taste is excellent concentrated sweet apple juice, agave nectar, thicker mouthfeel. Sour finish. Like some of the best apple flavors you can ask for. So good.

> Awesome lower boost ice cider with your favorite apple pie plus acid balance

[ Bottle ][ 375mL ][ Cidrerie du Minot ][ $15+ ][ Reidel Reisling Stemware ][ 7.12.14 ]
>> Low carbonation, soft cork pop, small nucleation. Nose is apple pie with melted cheese on top. Taste is spot on juicy yellow apple, nice apple skin tannic balance, tremendous balancing salt and acid. Boss all around, though the carbonation seems to be unnecessary.

>!< why carbonate?

Un nectar doux mais explosif de saveurs. Très sucré, mais dans un équilibre parfait. La définition même d’un bon cidre de pommes, parfaitement mature et merveilleusement équilibré.

2013-11-19. Crisp dark yellow body, nice legs. Lovely appley aroma, apple sauce and whisper of skins. Flavour is pleasantly sweet, light acidity throughout, sweet fruity apple. Smooth medium bodied palate, not as complex as some but lovely. Bottle from the cidery

Bottle, shared with my wife (begrudgingly, as this ice cider business is becoming one of my new favourite things). Deep burnished brassy orange with medium sized carbonation that clings to the sides of the glass. Aroma is beautiful buttery caramel shortbread and apples, luscious! Sticky sweet toffee apple goodness, hints of spice, beautiful rounded apple flavour with nice acidity in the finish. Awesome!

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2013 Corked 375ml. Short lived effervescent head settles quickly into a rose-hued clear amber pool. Fragrant floral red apples. Very clean, but also a tad "browned". Cedar, vanilla, rose petals, peach, honey and lemon-accents on a lush apple core. Tangy, spicy, acidic and wonderfully clean. Rich body, lusciously sweet. Strongly acidic, salivating and refreshing and new and wonderful. Spicy, peppery, jaw-droppingly poundable. The combination of carbonation and magnificently expressed apple sweetness is a new experience. I mean it almost feels like there are chile peppers in there. It’s a lingering brashness in a long, sticky finish. After a while it feels like heartburn. But that’s a wound I will suffer.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with small bits of a white head on the fringe. Best smelling cider I’ve smelled in a long time, smells of warm homemade applesauce, has a bit of the caramel acidity of ice cider. Beautiful. Medium bodied, velvety but with just the smallest hint of carbonation, sort of microcarbonation, very fine. Sweet apples, a touch of acidity, light with lingering apple sugar. Quite beautiful. Delicious.

Bottle at cider tasting. Golden pour with a touch of tan head. Sweet apple, caramel, light spice, with a touch of warmth and tartness on the finish. Nice smooth texture.

Bottle shared at the Cider Tasting. Pours a pale golden hue, no haze, with some lively carbonation, no head, some legs on the swirl. Aromas are pronounced apple, touches of heat, yeast, and vanilla. A touch of honey, sweetness, and funky cheese essence. Initial is a bountiful sweetness up front, rich apple, touches of honey sweetness, mellow spice, yeast, and funk. Into the middle sweet and slightly tart apples take into account, some dustings of carbonation on the palate, light yeastiness. Finish is lingering sweetness, sustained apple, touches of honey and spice make it linger on more. Gentle, with some nice sweetness, sustained flavors. Interesting.

Sampled from the bottle. Poured a deep gold with slight orange hue and no head whatsoever but visible carbonation. Aroma was sweet apples with a bit of apricot and just a hint of acid. Flavor starts sweet with apple and apricot and a growing acidity. The carbonation distracted slightly from the cider.
