Sampled from the bottle. Poured a clear pale ruby red with some visible carbonation. Aroma was a combination of tart apple and a dry white wine note. Flavor began with some slightly sweet but tart geneva apples that gave way to a dry white wine finish. Seemed a bit muddled.

1 year old bottle. Golden red pour, not much head, only a little fizziness, as expected. Nose is oxidized apple skins, a touch of tart, a bit minerally, with perhaps some clementine. Fairly complx if you sniff it lightly — but breath in too much, and it smells kind of gross. Flavor is really nice, clean, easy drinking, a perfect level of tartness, with a bit of a watery finish. Some very pulpy apple flavors in there, but it is pretty far removed from a normal cider, no doubt due to the Geneva apples used. Quite tasty, extremely easy drinking.

Bottle from Puzzl. Peach/Red Rose color, thick white head. Aroma is very floral with apple, light candy like character to it. Taste is very interesting, tons of the geneva apple, floral and perfume like notes. Good stuff.

Bouteille de 75 cl. Belle couleur rosée, assez d’effervecence et un petit collet rose pale.Arome de fromage fruité, un peu sec. Bon petit goût sûrette de pomme et de petit fruit.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2013 2013-04-25. Nice pinkish colour, bubbly. Pleasant fruity apple in the aroma and flavour, has a lightly "rosey" quality to it, which I didn’t elaborate on in my notes but I think I meant floral/rose petal like notes. Average to light body has pleasant soft carbonation. 7/4/7/3/15 3.6Bottle, sampled at the cidery
2006-11-XX. Pink body with effervescent head that fades quicky. Very cheesy aroma - sharp cheedar gives way to Baby Bel gouda. Bizarre flavour is again cheesy, sweetish in the middle with sharp apple flavours briefly in the finish. Mouth is left quite dry, with a tannic finish. Average effervescent palate. According to the guy who brought it this is not what it normally is like but it was quite unique and a number of people really liked it. Definitely worth trying, not sure if I would want too much of it in a sitting though. 7/3/6/3/15 3.4 Bottle at Brewnosers meeting.

Pours a light pink color, at first there’s a thin fizzy head but it quickly diminishes to form a small ring across the glass. Musty aroma of apples, the apples aroma is very sharp, it feels like it explodes in my nostrils, and I like that. Very dry, tart flavor of apples, there’s a cheesy thing going there too. The mouthfeel is dominated by dryness and very strong carbonation. Du Minot is a very good cidery and both their Crémant de Pomme have to be tried.

(2oz sampling) Geneva apple. Small white head with a light peach colour. Slightly more tart with the same cheese flavour (coincidently I found out that the water in the washroom at this place had the odour of sulphur - perhaps the groundwater flavour is being adsorbed by the apple trees?). Doesn’t have the imploding fizz flavour as the regular Cremant de Pomme but dry tart finish.

Very intense and sweet red apple aroma bursts from the bottle. Clear rosé-wine-like appearance with initial fizzy head that dissipates completely. Plenty of carbonation throughout. Initially sweet flavour is puckeringly tart in the very dry finish. Very strong champagne-like carbonation. Fairly complex considering the low alcohol. Bottle.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Rastacouere (6044) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 1, 2005
Lightly sparkling pink-orange. Very sweet fruity aroma. Apple is not ll that obvious, I’d name pear and strawberry before. Seems a bit undercarbonated for what it’s meant to be and the lightness becomes a bit dull as the finish kicks in, very watery instead of dry. More dryness would be more than welcome in this effervescent fruit juice. After their other neat ciders, this one was not very good at all..
