3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUL 14, 2009 Finally I found it. Since it is brewed in northern Greece , it was quite difficult to find this in Athens. At the end I found it 1’ away from me.
Red color. Not so much aroma , sweet caramel like. The taste is pretty complex. Very pleasant sweetness, notes of nuts , caramel and some fruit. Very good aftertaste. Recommended !

2.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Reddish color. Sweetish, and with a more complex aroma much more interesting than most beers available in Greece.

2.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
0,33l bottle, bought at carrefour in Crete. Small-medium head. Pale ale-colour. Flavour of something sweet...nessels maybe. Some nuts. The taste is not too delicate and has a bitter twist which better belongs to a G&T than a beer. Short finish.

2.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
300ml from tap at a bar called Chalaraa (means The Brewery, the waiter told us) at Platanias in Crete. Deep brown colour with a reddish tint. Missing aroma, but pleasant flavour of caramel and lots of roastiness that continues all through a medium finish. At the menu this beer from the north of Greece was called Red Fox. A great surprise to find a beer and a bar like this in Crete (29.05.2006).

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled: Intensive malty aroma with notes of caramel. Light alcohol note, medium sweetness. Amber to pink color, brownish head. Soft, velvety texture, flavor of roasted malt, caramel and a hint of alcohol. Light lemonade touch in the end and a bit thin. Bitter finish, notes of metal and roasted malt. My first good beer from greek.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, deep amber coloured with an almost absent, beige head. Very marked caramel aroma. Soft notes of roasted- and caramel malt. Not really sweet though, more dry with a fine, short bitterness. What a lovely Greek surprise. 020805
