Bud from Greece? No aroma to speak of. It looks OK, light amber with a small white head. The flavor is some malt and little else. The finish is watery. Nothing much here.

light very light yellow color wth a white head. Malty aroma mainly a corny presence but a mildy skunky note too. Flavor was subtle and somewhat nutty. Easy to drink but mainly flavored watered.

Very light gold with a disappearing white head. Aroma...artificial corn perhaps? Taste is all water with metallic bitter overtones. I enjoy pale lagers, but this is Greece’s answer to Keystone.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2008 (Canned, thanks Tomppa&Hanna!) Clear, pale golden with a decent, although fading head with some lace. Very weak aroma with a hint of corny malt and no hops. Corny-malty, slightly medicinal-plasticky and acidic flavor with some metal and hardly any malt or hops. Light-bodied, almost watery and fizzy-carbonated palate. Reasonably clean, but boring and useless beer by any respectable standards.

The name of this Greek beer conjures up possibilities - what could it taste like? Pours pale with large, gassy crown. Handsome, conservative label. Not much smell - a touch of floral hops, mixed with steel. The taste is fairly typical watery Eurobrew, halfway between lager and pilsner. Some cereal, hops, and sweetness. The addition of lime turns up the metallic taste.

Even by the weak standards of Greek/Balkan lagers, this was qualitatively worse than most. Very light color (not quite Michelob Ultra, but...) with a flavor of adjuncts and some offensive edges. Poor quality.

Bottle at an otherwise rather fine Greek restaurant in Skenes Creek. Orangish gold with a white head. Stale mealy aroma with some grass. Didn’t really want to taste it. Watery, average carbonation. Sweet taste with muddy grains, cabbage and sugar. A little grassy bitterness at the end helps a bit. Probably not at its best, but really offensive on the day.
