Bottled(500ml). -this is the only bottled beer(except Mythos) that I found in shops and supermarkets in Athens, like other greek beers there is nothing special to said about this lager, malty aroma, too much carbonated, bitter finish

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2005 Finally the notorious Vergina beer, which looks totally different in the greek alphabet. Just okay, but again, wheatish tasting, with a bitter bite, refreshing. But celebrations about finally arriving at Corfu (drank this on the Igomentisa to Corfu ferry), made it merrier.

Test vom 31.8.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,10,6,9,10

Slight skunkiness/hoppiness in the aroma, all very mild. Golden yellow in color, with a thick, creamy head atop. Very crisp and effervescent, not too offensive of an aroma, subtle, bitter hop finish.

Hugh off white head atop a straw colored body. Lot of lace. Rivals many a pils out there. Light pale malt aromas and hint of floral hops in the background. Sweet flowery flavors from the start that get more perfumy as it lingers on the palate. Slightly grassy and bitter in the finish and a touch of husky malt. Actually, a lot better then most pale lager made in the States.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2009 This is propably the best lager we have here. It resembles the taste of some german lagers that I’ve tried. Slightly sweet, nice after taste. And for the records Vergina is a part of Northern Greece :) lol

Draught @ Beer Time, Athens. Straw colour with slight carbo and 3cm of loose head. The aroma is a bit fruity and grassy. It has some biscuity notes, and vague pale bread stuff as well. Not much bitterness.

The best among all the other lagers produced in Greece. With a great value-for-money price is a must for every bbq party and camping! Liters of beer consumed, the same burp at the end.

Lys gul farge med hvitt skum. Lukter noe honning og hint av sitrus. Smaker syrlig og noe mere maltsmake enn en vanlig lager. lively,...
