Pours black with a big fluffy powder like beige head. The aroma is chocolate, dark ripe fruits, spices and has a tart side note. The flavour is dark fruity with lighter notes of roasted malt and chocolate. Some bitter acidic yeasty notes in the finish.

Sweet bready malty aroma, chocolate, licorice, light roast. Pours a very dark brown almost black with small wispy off white head Flavor starts subtle then goes into oak and licorice, some roast, bready. Medium heavy bodied with high co2, interesting mouthfeel, fluffy and chalky, almost makes me want to chew on it or smash with my tongue, some alcohol warmth, lingering dry oaky finish. I've never had a beer similar to this, which makes me like it. Not really complex. Well balanced, awesome mouthfeel. Surprising that it's 9% abv ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, BBE 05/06/16. Pours dark brown, black with a large, latte-colored head. Aroma is light roast, dark fruitiness, crisp, sour red berries. Taste is roast, dark fruit, fermented fruit, red berries. Slight coffee and clove. Feels sour. Gone off a bit, maybe? Very strong carbonation. Not good.

Bottle. Pours a jet black beer with a big off white head on top. Aroma is malty, sweet red fruits, roasted malts and a hint of caramel. Flavor is very weird, some tarty fruits with roasted malts and acidic hints. Really weird and almost seems a bit off in my humble opinion. Some metallic notes in the aftertaste. Immensly carbonated. Weird... very weird.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a black color with a one finger off white to tan foamy head that dissipated gracefully and leaving a small cap of a head. Lacing seemed structured and clingy roaming all around the glass and spider webs nicely. The smell starts off with dark fruits over top of some sweet Belgian sugars. Light clove slides in to spice things up a bit. The taste was moderately sweet with a nice bitter and roasty underscore of the Belgian spices/clove. Subtle dark fruity aftertaste. Quick dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body. Makes for a nice sipper. Carbonation feels good as a Belgian Stout. Overall, not sure why its labeled as a foreign stout on here, because to me, Id say this leans closer to a Belgian stout. Still, Id say its good stuff for the most part.

Aroma: some liquorice, roasted herbs, roast malts, some caramel, toffee, prunes. Medium to almost strong body. Taste: brown sugars, bit spice (anise touch), roasted malts, bitters, bitter toffee, floral hop bitters. Aftertaste complex: floral roast tones, some malts and herbs. Well done!

Apperarnce: dark brown with a tanned head of 1 finger. Aroma: malts, toffee, toffee, fruity, whine, licorice and alcohol. Taste is moderate sweet and light bitter. Starts with red fruits, dried fruits and tofee, some whine like tones , raisins and finishing with a nice warmth and a bit to much licorice and a hint of sourness which is nicely implemented. full body, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

11.2 oz bottle, thanks Poisoneddwarf- Pours mostly black with a thin off white head. Aroma is very European, blackberries, minerals. The taste is minerals, dark fruits, figs, chocolatey. Body is a bit thinner than American stouts, but i kind of like that, carbonation is medium to high. Good.
