Pour on tap at Happy Gnome, clear dark red pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of big raspberry, cherry, red fruit into a bit biscuit, slight yeast into some vanilla. Taste was a mix of big raspberry, dark cherry, raspberry, hints of slight red fruit, orange, slight caramel, toffee, hints of vanilla, finishing sweet.

12oz bottle. Pours ruby red with minimal head. Smells sour cherry. Taste follows with something dry in the middle...nice sour finish. Pretty good but feels like they missed a little on this one.

Bottle - thanks Tom! Very deep maroon pour. Sweet fruit - like a Luden’s cough drop. Hint of vinegar and a touch dry in the middle. Good.

rondphoto (2551) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - MAR 5, 2015
bottle @ Grassroots Natural Market / Jacksonville FL --- Clear very dark ruby amber, ruby-white head cover, dots and blobs of lace. Taste is somewhat sour cherry that grows substantially into the palate, becoming sweeter and more fizzy. Malt shows in a lingering tart finish. A surprisingly solid fruit beer.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass; drinked @Brassicole 2015. Nice beer with a powerfull cherry taste, as the Kasteel red for those who know it. Aroma overhelmed by the sweet dark cherries, great purple appearance with a creamy rose head. Try it, love it !

czar (5018) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 23, 2015
pours dirty red-purple with a tall and almost creamy purplish head, reviving and leaving nice lacing. fragrant and strong cherries, cheap canned maraschino cherries - too red to be true-like, woodsy if not woody - feoders i’m guessing - gently acetic; astringent wood, some sweetness - cherry meat, phenolic esters-plenty. average to light carbonation, light body - oily; sweet, gently tart/tannic grassy-cpisy finish. intense, but wood treatment helps to balance it a bit. and adding extra character. o-k.

Bottle 33cl. Small white layer, red color. Aroma is cherries, wine gums, elderberries. Taste is sweet of candy and mentioned berries. The arrival is still quite sour.

Pours hazy red brown with a pink head. Aroma is mostly cherry with some grain. Taste is sour cherry and alcohol.

ClubGonzo (4450) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 28, 2015
Bottle. Pours a deep ruby-hued pink body with a small pink-hued white head. Nose is marzipan, cherry pits, almond essence, tart red berries and hints of herbs. Taste is sweet cherries, almond essence, red berries, hints of herbs and white sugar. Medium body, high carbonation. Fair enough for the sweet fruit beer that it is, but no winner.

Svesse (6716) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JAN 26, 2015
(Bottle, Delirium Café, Brussels, 26 Oct 2014) Dark ruby colour with frothy, pinkish beige head. Fruity sourish nose with caramel, cherries and red fruit. Fruity, slightly tart taste with notes of cherries, almond, caramel, red fruit and a sweet and sour finish with a balanced bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and fruity with a balanced acidity making it fairly complex. Quite nice.
