Pours an opaque dark ruby with a creamy pink-tan head. Big sweet soda pop nose, very synthetic and reconstituted-smelling. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Tangy, sticky, cloying sweet fruity mid palate, like a soda pop. Definitely backsweetened, definitely from syrup.

larsga (6621) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 14, 2015
Medium pink head. Deep dark red barely translucent body with powerful, almost boiling carbonation. Spicy yoghurty cherry and almonds aroma with rhubarb and alcohol notes. Sweet-acidic cherry juice taste with almonds and herbs notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry-sweet-acidic cherry juice and candy aftertaste with herbal wooden notes. It’s not bad, but it’s really odd. (0.33l bottle, I have no idea where from.)

Bottle from bhensonb. Pours murky crimson with an attractive pinkish brown head and a cherry aroma. There is a sweet cherry flavor over a light malt base. Way too sweet for me, but still somewhat drinkable.

Draft. PRetty much a lindemans esque fruit beer, sweet but tart candylike fruit notes.

(Rating #6241)

Pour on tap at Happy Gnome, clear dark red pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of big raspberry, cherry, red fruit into a bit biscuit, slight yeast into some vanilla. Taste was a mix of big raspberry, dark cherry, raspberry, hints of slight red fruit, orange, slight caramel, toffee, hints of vanilla, finishing sweet.

12oz bottle. Pours ruby red with minimal head. Smells sour cherry. Taste follows with something dry in the middle...nice sour finish. Pretty good but feels like they missed a little on this one.

Bottle - thanks Tom! Very deep maroon pour. Sweet fruit - like a Luden’s cough drop. Hint of vinegar and a touch dry in the middle. Good.

bottle @ Grassroots Natural Market / Jacksonville FL --- Clear very dark ruby amber, ruby-white head cover, dots and blobs of lace. Taste is somewhat sour cherry that grows substantially into the palate, becoming sweeter and more fizzy. Malt shows in a lingering tart finish. A surprisingly solid fruit beer.
