Poured a slightly murky reddish brown, slight head. Aroma is cherry over some sweetish malts. Flavor matches, with a nice interplay of malt sweetness and tart cherry going on. Rather enjoyed this quite a bit more than I had been expecting. Nice.

330 ml bottle poured into a chalice. The beer is a murky red with a think, whisp of a head of pink foam. The aroma has intense cherry, like cherry pie filling. Moderate tartness comes through, but there is also a great deal of sweetness. Medium body and medium to high carbonation. I enjoyed this one a good bit. Would love to have it again.

330ml bottle. Poured a ruby color with a pinkish tinted head. I found this to be overly sweet and artificial. Cough drops or cough syrup. Did not, could not finish the bottle.

Bottle acquired via a Christmas care package of beer from an aunt. Kind of a murky, hazy reddish brown color with initial head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is medicinal cherry and is not doing much to make me excited to drink this one. Almost a rubber cement quality as well. Taste is just...wow...cherry. Strong fake cherry...like what cough drops tasted like when you were a kid before you grew up and realized cough drops didn’t to taste like bad fake cherry. It’s a lot of flavor at the onset but quickly disappears. A very abrupt end. More sweetness than tart. Hard to imagine drinking more than the one bottle in...well, a lifetime. This is not my style but even if it was the score would not be favorable. Avoid.

33 cl. bb 2016-07-22. This bottle indicates 7.7% abv. Pours murky dark red-brown with a thin film of maroon cream. Aroma of sweet/tart cherry and prunes. Taste is the same but with more sweet than tart cherry, plus a little bit of wood. Medium body is to the sweet side and has medium carbonation.

330 ml bottle. Deep, ruby red body with a big, pink head. Strong aroma of synthetic cherry, almond and marzipan. Flavor is too much for me, very sweet and tastes like synthetic cherry essence. No complexity, just cherry. Only driinkable in very small amounts.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2016 Bottle at home. Deep ruby colored, almost brown, with weird looking light reddish brown head. Massive cherry jam, marzipan, bitter almonds, very sugary, some sour fruits, cooked raspberries, bitter leaves, Amaretto, vanilla cake. Very sweet, under medium bitter and light sour. Almost full bodied. Bit weird and very sweet but not as bad as I expected.

Donkerrood bier met schuim. Smaak is fruitig, kersen en ietwat friszuur, een erg goed fruitbier zoals er niet veel zijn. Diepe volle smaak.

Dark cherry aroma with slight sourness, syrupy cherry with bread. Pours a garnet color with small wispy pinkish head Sweet syrupy sour cherry flavor with bready malts and slight earthy hop Light bodied with high co2, lingering cherry sweetness. Very sweet beer but also very pleasant. A nice treat ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
