wacho (43), Izegem, Belgium May 15, 2008 geproeft in Kroegske Oostende.
JensenTaster (1480), Denmark May 19, 2008 (on bottle) Dark orange, white head. Aroma of champions and kandis, mould too. Very sweet taste, but it has a tad of funk, witch makes it a real gilsdrink, skål, tøser. ChristianScheffel (2014), Odense, Denmark Apr 27, 2008 Light amber with a lasting off-white head. Good looking lace. Weak funky aroma, extremely rodenbach-like, with malt in the background. Sweet and fruity with a little tartness. fonefan (4045), Ulfborg, Denmark Apr 23, 2008 Bottle @ <a href=http://www.ale.dk/index.php?id=4638 target=_new> Sour ale Tasting - DOE Holstebro. Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, wood. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light acidic with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (250308) Maria (3788), Thisted, Denmark Apr 12, 2008 Courtesy of Fonefan. It’s a clear, dark red copper color and the head is creamy and lasting. The aroma is sourish with notes of berries and hints of malt and caramel. The flavour is both sweetish and sour with light notes of candy sugar, berries, grapefruit and caramel. It’s a pleasant sour, but not nearly as nice as Duchesse De Bourgogne from the same brewery.
