Given a few minutes to breathe, the nose settles into a pleasant cherry-balsamic vinegarette aroma with a hint of malt sweetness to counter the acidity of the vinegar note. Medium-bodied and super soft with felt-like carbonation and a tart, moderately drying finish. The flavor initially mirrors the nose with a mildly dry woodiness thrown into the mix. A pleasant blend of tart cherry, controlled balsamic, sweet barley malt and a drying virgin woody finish and aftertaste. This is a tasty beer that is an approachable sour for even those who might ordinarily find themselves averse to trying the style. Tonkun (60), New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 2, 2010 Draft at Pizzeria Paradiso. Light reddish brown with a nice head. Smells great and approachable like a cocktail. Apple, rasberry, and cherry. Nice kick of acid and sourness similar to a nice red wine vinegar. Easy to drink and a beautiful appearance that I probably would recommend my wife. Fratto (827), Arlington, Texas, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 26, 2010 Stong vinegar aroma. Has a dark red to brown color. Pours a slightly tan medium to thin head. A slight sweetness up front, then to sour with a quick clean finish. Leaves a malty residue on the tongue. Slight lacing. The beer is alive. The carbonation gives it a medium body that instantly dissipates to a watery finish. My first flemish sour. Very delicious. I think I would enjoy it more at a higher abv. But this is a very good beer. DeputyAndy (111), New Jersey, USA
