Bottle. Pours a dark reddish-brown. Aroma of wood, balsamic vinegar, and fruit. Flavor starts very sweet... caramel like. Very creamy and smooth. But too sweet to put it up at the top with my favorites.

Bottle. Complex aroma with spices, berries and wood. Deep golden red colour with small beige head. Sweet fruity flavour in accordance with aroma. Soft mouthfeel. Very elegant. Dry oakwood aftertaste.

On tap at the Publick. I enjoyed this brew. Cherryish aroma with other fruits. Tastes that of a nice port, very interesting. Totally worth a try.

330 ml. bottle and 6.2% ABV. This Flemish red ale has plum like sour but inherently sweet taste. The dark brown appearance with rich creamy foam is really unforgettable.

On tap @ Hopleaf. Finally got around to try this and boy was I impressed. This poured a reddish brown with a smallish head. The aroma reminds me of balsamic vinegar, with a little sour cherry thown in. There is a real sweet & sour thing going on with the flavor - very appealing. Some fruit (cherry again), oak, red wine, and sour. Great complexity. Very smooth. Medium to heavy carbonation. I really like this one.

wow, a very different brew indeed ... lots of complex and strangely exotic (erotic?) flavours ... crazy good full mouthfeel ... it is uplifting and tangy, with some jump up and dance qualities .. a fitting beer for the 2008 champions league! ... full, delicious, and a damn enjoyable beer... Come On United!!! Wishlist cross-off: put on originally 6/14/2006

Pours a beautiful burgundy colored brown. Smell is more of a port wine than a beer. The aroma is of ripe fruit, alcohol, slight vinegar, dark malts, and spice notes. Taste is a bit hard to describe it is more like a wine, yet the fruit and aged oak flavor come through nicely. Very good beer, worth the cost!
