750ml bottle from Bev4less. Pours a hazy dark brown color with a beige head that leaves plenty of lacing. The nose is funky and fruity with sour apple and grapes. The flavor is sweet and sour with ripe fruits--sweet peaches and apples--and a bit of sour grapes and cherries filling the sides. The mouthfeel is full and silky smooth. The finish is long and sweet with lingering rock candy. Overall: Not nearly as sour as I was hoping for, but still nice and complex; a well crafted ale.

Pours a deep murky reddish brown with lots of medium sized tan particulate, and a two finger fuzzy tan head with good retention. Aroma is apple, peach, sour pear, green wood, vine fresh grapes, vanilla, lime, wheat and some floury pastry crust. Flavor is sweet red apples first, earthy oak, sour pears, honey, red grapes, minced meat pie, a hint of caramel and bready malts and some metallic and sour bacterial notes.Finish is musty, oakey and sour. Body is medium-thin and maybe a little over-carbonated.

Deep brown beer with a very small head. Fruity aroma and flavour. I recgnise some notes of coffee. Finishes with a very mild lactic sourness.

Bottle pours deep brownish read with a small light tan bubbly head. Aroma of peaches, grapes and honey. Sweet body with an ice medium mouthfeel. Cherries, sweet rolls, and a good sourness at the end. Not as sour as I had wished but it went nicely with Xmas dinner.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Binnys (Orland Park, IL) that was lurking in the depths of the fridge for some time. Pours a fairly dark hazy brownish with hints of red with a sizable bubbly well carbonated offwhite head. Aromas are abundant: oaky dryness, some light funky sourness, and sour fruit, grapes and maybe a hint of cherry, populate. Initial is very inviting, more subtle than the aroma. Light sour sweetness mixes up front, sour grapes and darker malts mix with a decent oaky dry character. Very sessionable, not overpowering, and the sour and oak arent overdone. Very nice! Cheers!

Bottle, pours a deep mahogany with a nice small tan head. Aromas are cherries and spice, tasted the same with some malt notes in the background, finishing sour with a lingering finish.

Presents red/copper with a nice, off white head. Nose shows raspberry, balsamic vinegar and oak. Palate has sweet malt that brings caramelised berries before the oak kicks into gear and delivers a dry, salty mustiness with almond and marzipan and afterthought. Finishes with balanced, slightly tart acidity. Classic!!

Pours a rusty red with a giant rocky head that lasts forever. Nose like red wine and earth. Taste is earthy with notes of red grapes, prunes, rasins, wood and meat. Finish is sweet and sour.
