Bottle - Pours a slightly cloudy reddish-brown in color with a small light tan head that faded to a very thin covering over the beer. Small amount of lacing. Aroma is moderately sour with apple and some spiciness. Flavor is quite apple cider-like... almost an apple wine character. In spite of the initial sourness the beer is actually quite sweet. Lingering sweetness on the finish. "Sparkly" carbonation. When I first smelled this beer I thought that I would not like it... I was wrong... it is a pretty good beer.

Pours a rich ruby color with a thick bubbly head. Aroma is slightly vinegar, apple, a bit of wood and dark fruit. Taste is light wood, red grapes, apple peel, with a metallic finish. Not your typical sour but still enjoyable.

Pours a ruby color with thick off white frothy head that fades quickly. Aroma is of light spice, dark fruit, mild wood notes and a light sourness. Taste is very vinuous with some red grape, light wood and some light alcohol. Moderate carbonation and sour finish. Light astringence.

bottle. pours a brilliant deep red with a decent size off white head. deep aromas of dark fruits, cherries, and apples. very sweet and full of fruit. full body over the palate with the sour apples coming forward, followed by dark cherries and some sweet wine. Nice sour finish... not too sour, just the right amount for my tastes. Excellent sour...

Had at the Abbey, and shared by dragonstout. Thanks Brian!! Pour was a dark ruby red. Aroma was soured fruit. Flavor was berries, sour apples, and a hint of spice. I imagine this would be a good beer to try to get used to sours, if, like me, you do not like sours!

The big bottle poured deep mahogany with cherry tones and fluffy tan head. Smells of dark fruits with caramel notes. The flavor is definitely fruity and sweet, with a slight alcohol warmth. It’s a good tasting sour, but not too complex. Medium bodied with sufficient carb. Very tasty.

Bottled(250ml). -Reddish/brown coloured, small pale tan head, sour wine like almost vinegar nose. The taste is also vinegar, very sour fruity, light spicy and lactic with notes of caramel, wood and maybe glue. Strong sourness in the finish. Didn’t impress me.

On tap at Papagos. Notes of horse blanket, banana and spice. Wasn’t very sour - more sweet than anything. Pours brown with white head.
