Interesting taste that feels like it starts with a lambic-like sweetness and then shifts gears to a tart sourness. Very enjoyable. thenick (742), North Bellmore, New York, USA Aug 3, 2008 Bomber. Pours a lovely brown color with a medium-sized tan head. Aroma is Belgian funk with grape/wine notes thrown in as well. Flavor was mostly the same, though I also detected some dark fruit (cherry, plum, grape) with a wonderful dry and tart finish. Excellent, excellent sour ale. allfreej (358), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Jul 28, 2008 Bottled. Watch the pressure--when I unwired the tin cap and removed it, the cork came out on its own (probably a tad too warm). After the explosion, it poured medium brown, with a nice tan head. Vinous nose, with notes of hoarhound. The flavor was malt, grape, oak, and cherry and had a nice tartness to it as well as a fine dry finish.
