Aug 19, 2008 On tap at Falling Rock Tap House in Denver, 8/11/08. Pour brown with red hues. Nose is sweet and sour with lots of vinegar. Taste is sweet caramel with apple and cherry with mild vinegar and slight candy. Tasty and complex.

Aug 19, 2008 Bottle. Deep amber in colour but very sweet in taste. Thick and intense. I paired this beer with cold radish kimchi and it was magical. The deep cherry flavour mixed well with the slight kick of the kimchi... creating a strange (but good) mix of thick sweet and spicy flavours. Saved a little for after dinner and continued to enjoy. Best enjoyed slowly.

Aug 18, 2008 Draft at Brouwer’s. Pours nearly black with a dense, thick, fluffy tan head. Big sour cherry, oak, and balsamic vinegar. Maybe a little bit of strawberries and moss in there as well. Creamy medium body with active though soft carb. Mid-palate is a wonderful whirl of cherries, oak, and vinegar. Wonderful easy-drinking stuff; almost appropriate for sessioning and definitely appropriate for dessert. A triumph of recipe and execution for sure.

Aug 16, 2008 At the gall en gall westerwatering zaandam, wow need to use the nose,...its almoste a good wine,..full smell of oak, the tast is little sour, aroma is complex with fruits, basement aromas, butterscotch, little caramel. very very good one.

Aug 14, 2008 Bottle. Dark reddsih brown with a little light brown head. Aromas of berries, sugar, spice and wood. Flavour is fresh and sour at first, but ends with a good amount of sweetness. Lovely and very drinkable - I could drink this every day!

Aug 13, 2008 (Bottle). Much has already been said on both extremes about this beer, and truthfully I was expecting to be repulsed. However, to the contrary, I experienced this as quite delightful. Sour and sweet, in both aroma and taste, a delicate and complex blend. Deep brownish red in color with off white head. Not for everyday drinking, but a great choice when the desire is for something unique and different.

Aug 10, 2008 I think this is a ’Love it or Hate it’ beer. Its aroma tastes much like balsalmic vinegar with hints of Worcestershire sauce. The aroma is deceiving, though and the flavor comes through with a beautiful sweet and sour profile. Lots of sugar and a very balanced finish hidden in the palate if you can dig through the nose and the initial flavor. I liked it, but I have heard that it is much better on draft.

Aug 10, 2008 Best before 17-03-06. Hazy brown pour with a fizzy tan head and a little spotty lace. Cherry and vinegar on the nose. Slightly spicy and sweet I just cant seem to get past the vinegar flavor. Notable oak & cherry flavors. Not too tart
