Bottle shared by EDA. Poured amber with a lot of beige head. Aroma is buttery with a little bit of sourness/tartness. The flavor is very fruity (mostly cherries) and also buttery. Very smooth palate.

Bottle, dark red, ruby port like with small head. Sour vinegar aroma, but a well balanced taste of tart cherries, raspberries. Dry and refreshing, very well done. A complex and sophisticated taste.

Aug. 2006 - Beer pours dark brown color with red highlights. Moderate one finger head left great lacing. Aroma was vinegary, which is no surprise. However the flavor had very little of the sour vinegar that I expect from the style. It’s there, but very subtle. The mouthfeel on this thing is phenomenal...velvety smooth. The flavor is fruity and just too darned sweet. It also had a slight metallic twinge in the finish as it got warmer. I actually had a little trouble getting through this.

Dark reddish brown cola colored with thin head. Salty vinegar sour aroma. Vinous sweet and fruity taste. Very interesting and no traces of a traditional beer.

Beautiful clear mahogany color with a light tan head, nice lacing. Slight sour vinegar smell at first then caramel malts and cherries. Flavor starts fruit juice sweet then sour with hints of vanilla, oak and cherries and caramel malts. Very smooth mouthfeel and medium bodied. Easy drinking, and lots of flavor for a 6%abv brew. 012406

Tasted on the beertasting with the brewer at the bb. Very nice and good tasting beer that is not that strong. We could taste it first on bottle and at the end we had the possibility to drink it from draft 5 years old. This was still very nice even better then the bottle

Beer with intense tawny color and not persistent foam. The scent has wine notes and after a persistent acidulous tone. In mouth you have a persistent acidulous tone and then you can feel a yielded tone. A little bit bitter for fight acidulous note. Not to drink alone.

On tap at Town Hall Brewery in Minneapolis. I thought it was great in bottle but on tap...wow. Brownish red pour with a small off white head. Over ripe or sour cherry aroma with something else there as well. The taste is dark fruit with earth and cherry tart as well. This is wonderful.
