Jan 1, 2008 11.2oz bottle-pours a foamy tan head and deep ruby red color. Aroma is dark fermented fruit-raisin, cherry, medium malt. Taste is dark fermented fruit-raisin, cherry, secondary medium/dark malt, syrupy, some spicy (hops). Kind of a spice lambic. Good effervescence.

Dec 31, 2007 Malt sweetness, noticable at first. Sour notes light acitic acid notes as well a slight woody note. Dried fruit notes come thourgh as the beer warms. Light brown in color with light ruby tint when held to the light. Light off-white head that clings to the side of the glass. Malt Sweetness in noticable upfront then cut through with a light sourness in the back. Cherries come to mind in the flavor of this beer.

Dec 29, 2007 Bottle bought at Hopduvel Gent. Deep brown colour with some reddish undertones and a moderate tan head. Aroma was very sour, almost vinegar-like, with some fruit and molasses and tart oak. The flavour was powerfully sour with some yeast and a vinous mouth feel. The finish had a lingering acetic edge. Complex and very enjoyable.

Goût très fruité, avec une note de boisé et une présence lactique discrète. L’arrière-goût fruité demeure discret, peut-être le point le moins réussi de cette excellente bière. Unique en son genre parmi les bières trouvables au Québec.

Dec 25, 2007 330ml bottle from Bevmo Carmel Mountain. Wow! What a beer! Poured a Deep copper with a very thin off white head. Nose of sour cherries, oak, cabernet.....and something I can’t put my finger on. Flavor was very sweet, sour and smooth. I’m new to sour ales but, on my way to falling in love with them.

Dec 23, 2007 From the tap poured a nice dark red color with a good amount of head. Nice sour flavor with a bit of spice. Nice lingering aftertaste.
