Tart and crisp. Unripened grapes and tart cranberry, many green grapes and pleasant green apples and bitter bacteria cultures. Super acidic and very rotten cherries that come to life when the carbonation hits the tongue to activate the flavours. A bit of orange peel in there too. Then the sugars and a subdued maltiness hits you. Very vinous. My first sour, and many more to come. Simply fantastic.

Pours red-brown with frothy head. Aroma of cherry, oak, yeast, sweet molasses malt and some vinous notes. Flavor is only slightly sour cherry and grape with really well balanced sweetness. Amazing balance, but not much in the way of sourness. To be honest, I’m not sure what to make of this one, as it is really drinkable but doesn’t strike me as a well-made sour ale.

Brown with red hue and a nice light brown head. Aroma is musty, yeasty, and fruity with some vinous notes and a little balsamic vinegar. Flavor is lightly sour with some grape like vinaigrette. Rather light, and extremely easy to drink. Good stuff. My first Sour Ale, and I like it!

Inusitado (mas bom) aroma de cola de sapateiro (!), intenso e maravilhoso. No refrescante paladar, azeitonas verdes e cerejas. Final de uvas vermelhas. Uma cerveja única.

Pours a rich cherry/amber color with a full and frothy head. Aroma is reminiscent of sour apples. Comes on strong and sour but mellows into a fruity-sweet and warm-alcohol finish (almost aperitif). Incredibly complex palate that manages to be both fruity and earthy, sour and sweet. A great beer in short - a fine sour ale.

Garrafa. Coloração avermelhada, com creme bege. Vinho, malte, doce, salgada. Carbonatação média. Álcool diferente. Personalidade. Aroma de fermento e cola de sapateiro. Única. Singular. Leve, suave. Sabor muito intenso pra pouco álcool. Um dos rótulos mais lindos que já vi. Parece quadro.

The wide range of aromas and flavours accent this beers so true to style. With notes of raisins, pears, green apples, that unfold into chocolate with slight nuttiness, while lactobacilli maintain an undercurrent through it all. This is a wonderfully complex beer.

This beer was a great surprise to me. I really liked the fruity flavor and yet it was still a beer
