WOW, better than Roddenbach, the aroma will awaken your sense of smell. deep amber color with a decent head. Oaky, tangy, sweet and sour. Needs to breathe for full enjoyment. Try it with a tiny splash of grenadine if it's too sour. Overall this one could be the better flemmish red but Roddenbach has the name and longevity. A must try for beer connoisseurs.

Wybitne piwo.

From old notes. Clear dark brown, thin beige head, nice lacing left on the glass.
Aroma starts with malt vinegar, but there is an underlying sweetness, oak, vanilla, wine.
Flavor is sour and sweet at the same time. Vinous, sweet, fruity, tart, oaky.

Pours a dark, burnt caramel red color with a thin off white head. Tart, dark fruit, oak, molasses and vinegar aroma. Cherry, plum, blackberry, grape, vinegar, mild tart, oak, sugar, port and slight alcohol flavors. Medium body and carbonation. Fruit and tart finish. Bottle aged about 2 years.

Bottle @ some beer place in Bruges. Dark red-brown colour. Very complicated arome, taste is divine. Don’t expect the taste of beer, though. Sweet and sour at the same time in very balanced way. First impression is wine, but maybe some drink with campari would be more close.

Dark brown colour, with tiny off-white head. Smell of champagne, the same are flavours with prevailing grape notes, pears, cherries. Medium carbonation and bitterness, and dry finish.

Small bottle. Classy design. Clear chestnut body with a small off-white head. Aroma has some soft Worcestershire sauce but the malty parts are not totally overshadowed. Complex. Taste has pleasant balsamic vinegar and strawberry tartness but again the malty parts add fullness and complexity. Once the tartness subdues the finish even starts to resemble non-sour brown beers. Very nice and complex beer.

Beetje zurig/azijnzurig, lange nasmaak. Ruikt lekker maar smaakt minder goed. Eikenhout is goed te proeven.
