4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from 750 ml bottle. Reddish brown in color with a thick creamy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma reminds of wine, sweet, fruity, sour, maybe vinegar. Notes of coffee. Taste is sweet with a sourish finish. Definitely tart cherry and berries. medium sourness, medium sweetness, Ive drank some beers that were extremely sour recently, this has a nice balance of sweet and sour. medium bodied. Really enjoying this beer. Nice blend of funkiness and sour. Very drinkable. First time drinking this and will be definitely revisit.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2016 Azijn frisse kersen kriek zurig zurigheid. Donker van kleur en nauwelijks een schuimkraag. Een mooie balans tussen een Kriek en een zurig azinnig biertje. Heerlijk aangenaam.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle bought and consumed in May 2016.
AROMA: Balsamic vinegar.
APPEARANCE: Brown with a red hue. Large off white head.
TASTE: Balsamic vinegar. Fresh water, very well hidden alcohol. Beautiful.
PALATE: Sour but not overly so. Malt vinegar. Oaky tannins. Very refreshing. Long lasting sourness offset by the wonderful watery base.
OVERALL: One of the best beers Iíve ever had. A regular drinker of this astonishing brew. I donít know too many Flemish Reds however I get the feeling this must be up there. Love it.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear dark beer with a small head, strong sour aromas from the beginning almost like a wine, the flavor is quite strong and bitter, with a mild malt flavor, but a strong bitter aftertaste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear ruby beer with an off-white head and a sour fruity aroma. Flavour is tangy fruit, a sour berry hit and thereís a bit of malt to mellow those out a bit. Itís tart enough that I wouldnít be rushing back for more but itís quite tasty.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled from a bottle. Dark brown with a tan head. Sour, fruity aroma. Classic sour/sweet taste. Some sweetness, then balsamic vinegar and sour fruit taste, with hints of raspberry. Well-balanced taste with good mouthfeel. Refreshing, but rather sour for my taste.

Wow, wow, wow. Heavenly sour-sweet, an elevation of malt and tart, with just a hint of vinegar keeping it from the five-point range. Flanders=if it isnít perfection, you can at least see it from there.
