Interesting red ale, sweet and sour with hints of cherries. A bit more sour than I prefer but interesting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ABV 6.2% Nice thick head poured out of the bottle. Admirably retains all of this head throughout my drink. This was satisfying to see and sample with every pull. Nose is mildly yeasty. Strong overtones of grape and tannin; just me trying to avoid using the word "wine". Clean ale mouth that is fleeting and then followed by an overwhelming vinegary mouth that slowly gives away flavors of toasted wheat and barley with lingering notes of plum and and orchid stems. Appetizing after taste that makes me want chicken wings. Pleasant enough, but not necessarily my favorite beer. Pals with wine coolers and ciders where bright fruity or citrusy flavors predominate. Could possibly be served as a mulled beer given it’s distinctly wine-y lineage. CAVEAT: This rating gets very middle of the road marks, because I just don’t trust my palate to know when it has a good sour beer. I appreciate the time and expertise it took to do this.

This beer has a great espresso smell with a nice subtle sourness. The sour isn’t overwhelming, it makes every sip enjoyable.

0,33l bottle (last one!) @ Stadin Panimobaari. Pours deep red with a medium off-white head. Aroma is very sour malts. Flavor is sweet and extremely sour malts with some artificial flavor. Recommended for the extreme connoisseur. Nice.

Poured from bottle. Sour aroma of what I can not tell. Pours a dark brown with slightly off white head. Heavy sour taste. Medium body. Very sour, not really my type of beer.

Looks.. A deep reddish brown, with a fluffy white med-lge head. Smells..old oak, vinous, older small berry, some vinegar like note. Tastes..berry, oak, vinous & slight balsamic/acidic hit, but generally smooth & finishes with a light sweet oak woodyness.

A nice tart beer, not too sour. Pours a deep but clear Amber with a white head. Smells of tart Apple, cherry and pear. Taste is cola, sour apple and cherry. Paired with carrot cake, brings out the green apple and pear, and accentuates the sweet aspects of the cake. Had in the bottle.

Pours a nice brown glass. Didn’t expect this ale to have such a lively sour/sweet taste.
