Belle apparence mais un odeur d’éthanol ressort. Au fur et a mesure de la dégustation, elle gagne en intéręt.

Dark copper red color, hazy with a thin off-white head. Aromas or malts, vinegar, funky. Taste is sour with vinegar and rotten fruits, with some candi sugar added. Light to medium body with medium carbonation.

The hell? I’ve not rated this? Reddish brown. Aroma is a vinegar, red wine, fruity aroma. Tart, but not particularly sour, red fruits. Good stuff

12oz bottle into a tulip. Pours a deep mahogany with a velvety, lasting tan head. Nose of pear and dried fruits more akin to wine, trying to remember "it’s a sour, it’s a sour". Complex flavour, with a mix-bag of sweet and tart, with apple and cherry being predominant. Sweet, smooth finish. Lots of carbonation on the tongue initially. Different and tasty.

12 oz bottle at home. In a word, interesting. Or maybe complex. Pours a really appealing warm reddish brown with a nice tight tan head. Smells like a Belgian with some cherries. Taste is sweet upfront- notes of dried fruit (raisins), cherries, sweet malt. Tartness comes later- reminiscent of an ascetic apple cider. Somewhat vinegary and slightly spicy. Bit of a short, dry finish. Nice and tart, but somehow I am left with impression it is overly sweet. Great, but not amazing.

Unique and legendary beer, with aroma of cherries, vanilla, grapes and almonds. Dark red/ruby, small head. Sweet and sour at the same time, a bit like sweet red wine. This beer is a must for every beer geek!

Aromat winny, octowy, syrop z wiśni, lekko alkoholowy. Kolor burgundowy, piana niewielka, skromny lacing. W smaku sok z wiśni połączony z octem, wyraźnie kwaśne, ale wiśnie słodkie, lekko alkoholowe, wysokonasycone, lekko kłuje w przełyk. Bardzo dobrze zbalansowane, bogaty bukiet smaków, bardzo dobre. Warka do 12.06.2016

Bottle. Aroma is of apple cider, pear, light lemon, and unripe blackberries. Sweet taste up front with a solid sour backbone. Flovor is a nice blackberry and sour apple finish. Clean and short finish.

Tap. I’m not usually a fan of sour beers, and while this one smells a little too sour, it’s pretty tasty. Hints of apple and cherry. A little too much apple cider vinegar taste. Would drink again.
