Pours a great deep reddish-copper color with a tan head and lacing. It has an aroma of dark cherries, apricots, along with some yeast and funk. The flavor is all dark fruit and some cherries and strawberries, and it has a great sweet finish that leads towards a sour aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Idealnie wywazone jesli chodzi o slodycz, kwasnosc i goryczke. Piwo bardzo fajnie uklada sie w ustach. Bardzo fajnie orzezwia. W smaku ciemne owoce i taki ocet winno-balsamiczny. Trzeba koniecznie sprobowac!

From a bottle of 25cl at Bottle World of kuala lumpur. Pours a dark burgundy red color with a beautiful beige head. Aroma of dark dry fruits, wood and herbs. Flavors, wow, rich red dark fruits, wood, vanilla and a hint of spiciness. Rich sour, dry body with nice effervescence, but superbly balanced, nothing too much. So very enjoyable. Love this, one more please!

On tap. I’m surprised to find I haven’t rated this before. It’s certainly been too long since I’ve had this. While the strong aroma is no more or less appealing than I recall, the flavor and mouthful are superb and better than remembered. Mild-moderate tartness with loads of sweet and sour fruits, including cherry and raspberry. Lively and fairly high but soft and appealing carbonation. Excellent large and dense head. Overall: a joy.

Pour: dark brown, high thick head, long lasting lumpy foam. Smell: sour, dark cherry, fruity, sweet, vinegar. Taste: sweet fruits, cherry and raisins, almost metallic, thick, deep and heavy in flavour, tartness. Mouthfeel: Thick, heavy, creamy. Verdict: Very nice beer, with interesting, full and intense flavour profile. But only in small quantities as it is rather filling and quite intense.

Very good beer! Nice color, dark brown with hints of red. It smells of brown sugar mixed with vinegar, somewhat like an aceto balsamico. Taste is medium sour with sweet notes of candy sugar and caramel. Feels like a nice wine.

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2016 #100 for the book "1001 Beers You Must Taste Before You Die." Aroma is woody, metallic, oak, some fruit I suppose but mostly disappointing. Appearance is red brown, had a light tan head before it fizzled away to nothing, clear and bubbly. Taste is medicinal cherry, wood, slight tart, bready for some reason, I?m unhappy. Mouthfeel is medium body, light fizzy carbonation, wood and medicine aftertaste. Overall, perhaps a bad bottle? I hope. This one is not good otherwise.

Bottle from FLASK, Aarhus. Pours dark amber with a beige head. Aroma and taste is malt, sour berry, some fruits, caramel, vinegar, grape, brown sugar. Medium body. Bitter nearly sour finish.
